As much as I don't really like "object on head" cosmetics, this fits the Spy a bit (with the whole sneaky thing), and could work in some loadouts (whether you have some cheap LARPer knight with a Cardboard Boxed Knife, a postal worker, or you really like the Box Trot). Were it to get in, I'd say it best fits the Mercenary Grade tier.

Of course it doesn't change the actual hitbox, dumbass. Everybody knows that. The point is it makes the hitboxes much harder to see.

I did not spend $3.50 on the boxtrot taunt, just for it to be outclassed by a mercenary grade community created cardboard hat.

eh, the concept is kind of funny but I personally couldn't see this being very appealing to others. Maybe its the team colors being the predominant color for the box?

Really torn on this one. It doesn't fit Spy at ALL, but it's also genuinely hilarious and not as horribly style-breaking as a lot of other workshop cosmetics.

You see this is a reference to "Box Prince", the thirty-seventh episode in the fifth season of Adventure Time, released in October 7, 2013. It is the one hundred and forty-first episode overall.
You can see in the synopsis:
"Finn meets the Box Prince (a cat with a box on its back) and discovers that the Box Kingdom has been taken over by an impostor."

This ties back into level 0 user, jaggi, and their comment regarding the Impostor from Among Us. This is a reference to the video game, Among Us, a 2018 online multiplayer game developed and published by indie game studio, Innersloth LLC. This video game gained notoriety in 2020 through the means of influencers streaming themselves playing this video game, as it spread enough to be the biggest game of the year.

With both of these factors in mind, I can finally conclude that this is in-fact a reference to the TF2 Taunt, The Box Trot, from the film, The Boxtrolls. Hopefully this can help stray any misconception.

It's rather big like the Beep Man and Idiot box, which are halloween restricted for the reason of not largely misrepresenting the hitbox. Also, I feel like this is just another silly hat people would only wear for the memes or their regret of unboxing a case.
