Is it working?

Hello, would you like to co-author a mod with me? I am making a mod that also contains roads and i would be honored to integrate your work instead of creating something that's already done very well. I sent you invitation if you would like to have a chat :) https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3357512115

Will there be an update?
sigmars_disciple 9 Jul, 2023 @ 10:29am
@Yros They are by definition thoroughly screwed. It's the main part of their lore.

(This is just a joke, welfies. Calm down. Stop sending threats to my inbox, please.)

I must admit, I haven't even touched IE yet and I forgot that I didn't update this, it still works for the original factions it has been made for and the building for Nurgle has been moved to Defence to prevent the infrastructure tab from being bugged.

Furthermore, while I would love to update this for other factions, my time at the moment is at an all time low, therefore, there are no promises but feel free to suggest which factions need this the most.
Dr Charko 5 Sep, 2022 @ 3:19am
Still works peeps
Scribe of Nekoti 4 Sep, 2022 @ 1:31pm
Also looking forward to the update!

Has this been updated to IE
Deviant 30 Aug, 2022 @ 10:16am
Looking forward to when your mod launches for IE!
Yros 29 Aug, 2022 @ 10:25am
Does that mean that, in order to build a 'road', we need to use a building slot ? If so, Wood elves are thoroughly screwed '-'
Leaf 27 Aug, 2022 @ 6:12pm
give the roads a small boost to trade income if possible

Hello ! Could we get an update please ? :)
Malykriss 25 Jun, 2022 @ 11:18am
@Captain Freakout thanks! I already saw it from your previous comment :)
Xiivait 19 Jun, 2022 @ 8:53pm
Pls fix the Nurgle issue
Captain Freakout 19 Jun, 2022 @ 3:42pm
Net, while Sam fixes it, you can still build from the Building Browser in case you haven't seen that.
Malykriss 18 Jun, 2022 @ 10:21am
Gonna Chime in with @Captain Freakout and say that I'm having the same issue with the Infrastructure panel. Only the road building is visible.
Captain Freakout 15 Jun, 2022 @ 7:40pm
Hey Sam, I seem to be having a problem. When I play Nurgle, the Infrastructure panel only shows your building, the others simply don't appear. They appear in the building browser, but not on the "quick build" panel.
Sam8872  [author] 2 Jun, 2022 @ 11:28am
Is it crashing the game? None of the entries or tables seem to require any changing and launches fine for me.
Polyn1kes 20 May, 2022 @ 3:03pm
Will this be updated to support the new patch?
sirmicou85 20 May, 2022 @ 4:47am
Hi ! Could we get an update please ? :)
GoatScream 8 May, 2022 @ 4:58pm
Good mod, but its causing all other nurgle infraestructure buildings to dissappear
Sallazzarr 6 May, 2022 @ 8:41am
A good addition since the road buildings are present in the previous games!
Ciaphas Cain 28 Apr, 2022 @ 9:56am
Nice one Sam, good old mod this!
Captain Freakout 26 Apr, 2022 @ 4:14pm
@Abisha Been playing a bit with this and honestly movement boosts are not low at all. In fact, they might be a bit too much in some cases after skill movement boosts are applied. I might be going off on some self-suggestion here, but it seems that Slaneesh armies already move a lot, and the buildings make them move a ton. Buildings should be hard to choose! And if you feel like you need more slots you can always use the Tier 4 Minor Settlements mod. I think the mod is fine right now - personally I'd maybe compromise with 4% and 6%, even, but I think the movement levels are just OK!
Ace2643 26 Apr, 2022 @ 4:05am
nvm, I found you can still get them through the building browser.
Ace2643 26 Apr, 2022 @ 4:02am
Why does it remove the other Nurgle infrastructure buildings? I need my nurglings!
Abisha 25 Apr, 2022 @ 9:11pm
hmm 5% is a bit low you should make it like 8.5%
then it's a hard choose not to pick it building slots are already low ingame
so they need to add
kelstr 25 Apr, 2022 @ 5:31pm
excellent mod
Spartan VI 24 Apr, 2022 @ 6:05pm
Regarding the icons, I'd be willing to chip in there. I've sent you some samples on the Modding Den #modder_team_up channel
TdizzleGod 24 Apr, 2022 @ 12:00pm
can you safely add and remove this mod
Leaf 23 Apr, 2022 @ 9:10pm
please do it, so it fits right in the tree. so it doesnt look out of place. also what do you think of giving the building trade bonus? its a road after all
thomasmayrhofer1 23 Apr, 2022 @ 10:10am
Amazing mod, thank you.
Sam8872  [author] 23 Apr, 2022 @ 6:19am
Update: The movement has been increased from 5% for the level 1 and 7% for level 2 instead of 3 and 5 respectively.

Moreover, the extra income has been nerfed from 8% in level 2 to 5% in level 2.
Sam8872  [author] 23 Apr, 2022 @ 5:22am
@Leaf - I think I just used it as a design decision to differentiate the different icons but I can have a look.

@Yhcrana - The purpose of this mod isn't to give the player an advantage off the bat, there are plenty of mods like that on the workshop. The purpose is to add road buildings to each faction, plus if you compare the road buildings in the game for WH1/2, these work out better. You can build a level 1 Empire road to give you 10% movement bonus but in the region, whereas one of these at level 2 would give you 5% but across the entire province so you would only need to use two building slots to match that instead of one in each.

As I said, these effects are all subject to balance so please feel free to suggest an alternative figure that you think would be fair, perhaps 5% for the level 1 and 7% for level 2 instead of 3 and 5 respectively.
Yhcrana 23 Apr, 2022 @ 1:19am
tbh... for that amount of bonus it would not be worth wasting a build slot
Leaf 22 Apr, 2022 @ 11:58pm
can you make the icon color to match the color of the infrastructure tree?
Captain Freakout 22 Apr, 2022 @ 4:16pm
Thanks for clearing that up! Will test it out in the coming weeks and let you know if I have any comments. 32% extra income does sound very high, though!
Sam8872  [author] 22 Apr, 2022 @ 1:27pm
@Captain Freakout - I actually never used that mod in WH2 and only knew about its existence a couple of hours ago haha. So, for movement, with four settlements you can expect an additional 20% movement, 28 growth and 32% extra income, though I might have to balance out that last one.

@Rythology - Glad you enjoyed it.

@Spartan VI - Yeah I can have a look at changing the loc for that.

Currently every building has the same effects but happy to take on feedback and you believe different effects should be atrtibuted to different factions such as extra skulls for Khorne or what-not.
Spartan VI 22 Apr, 2022 @ 11:24am
Nice idea! Wondering if lore-wise it would be more appropriate if Tzeench's version was related to teleportation instead of flight via furies? Thoughts? :chug:
Rythology 22 Apr, 2022 @ 11:22am
I love this take on increasing the movement range. Thanks for the mod!
Captain Freakout 22 Apr, 2022 @ 11:07am
I know it's different but this was a fundamental mod for me in WH2. Thanks for doing this! Hypothetically, what's the maximum bonus that you could get from these?
