@Munchykins Thanks for your comments. The corner assets can be placed at either end. This is what I did in the screenshots.

I would like to thank you Macwelshman as I love these assets! In fact I love all of your UK Housing assets. Not only do they look amazing they allow you to get more population in less space.
I was wondering if there is a way for me to mirror the corner terrace so that there is one for left and another for right corner to make it more seamless when attaching the mid. They look great without this but was just wondering.

I wanna thank you so much Mr MacWelshman for your answer, very kind. I will check that up, but as time go by I see more and more beautiful London buildings turn up. I need more though :D Today my CS city has the Union Jack half marked for Elizabeth II. May she rest in peace.

@JackX Thanks for your support. You may have noticed that I'm super busy with commissions atm so I won't have time to create the assets you suggest. If you do have some funds it might be worth you clicking the commission like at the bottom of the description and submitting a request. The worst that can happen is the estimate being too much!

Great buildings! Since you make such great buildings from London I was wondering if you can consider making a few more? I have three different buildings in mind; 1st is the the typical simple british townhouse, 3 or 4 stories high, seen all over UK(examples in London are all over but Camden High Street, Chinatown to mention something), 2nd are those majestic white buildings along Regent Street, usually 6 stories high with darker roofs. The 3rd are one of my favourite style buildings, and it has orange red brick, 6-7 stories high sometimes with basement flats, and sometimes with white colored street level floor and sometimes brick all the way down, white beautiful georgian style windows, and has usually dark or blue roof(example Grosvenor Square, London). I would love these buildings and I can donate a bit if needed. Thanks very much Macwelshman for all your great work! Have a good weekend! /Fred, Sweden

Very nice, but it would be nicer if there was a mirrored corner unit

Macwelshan keep doing the great work you are doing. My machine handles tris pretty well, its only 5 months old. As a heavy detailer i appreciate all your effort.
tacochamzy 30 Apr, 2022 @ 4:35pm
My understanding was that tris increase the file size and having assets which use a lot memory can cause crashes upon saving. I don't use first person mod so I guess that why didn't get it. Also making you happy is good enough lol. I've done modelling for other games, and I really get sucked in when it comes to adding the fine details.

@tacochamzy When I started creating for CS 7 years ago I would never have modelled as much detail as I do now but the number of tris per asset have significantly less impact on modern machines and assets are far more often viewed from close up with the first person mod. If I removed the side elements from every muntin on the mid terrace asset it would only save 360 tris which isn't very much. And anyway, creating detailed assets makes me happy!

@Slye_Fox In reality the roofing of these townhouses varies considerably from house to house so in that sense it is realistic. The facades of these assets work seamlessly in either direction.

@Macwelshman
"The corner building is designed to work on both sides"
But it doesn't really in-game, what with the different roof widths.
tacochamzy 29 Apr, 2022 @ 9:41am
Cool and all, but why do you model every individual surface on the windows? It dramatically increases the polygon count. I really am curious.

Brilliant! The red brick versions are a huge bonus ! Thank you for all your hard work!

Woah! These are beautiful! I love them so much! This will work in my ideal urban design city that I am building. I love the Montreal look to them too.

@Slye_Fox The corner building is designed to work on both sides.
Slye_Fox 27 Apr, 2022 @ 4:54pm
Could we get a mirror version of the corner building please? At the moment, it's great to stick on the left side of a row, but there's nothing that can go on the right side at the moment.
