@Coffee Man Late by a month, but yeah, my comment was aimed at a good, GOOD many Workshop users. It's only that one mod creator who I've had a bad experience with during my various interactions with 'em (or at least as far as the Workshop goes anyway).

@Coffee Man Ah yes, "playermodel/npc/swep/vehicle pls", people who don't read the description and then complain about errors and difficulties, copypasta spammers (if I see that "little girl called Clarissa" BS one more time...), the list goes on and on...

Throw in a recent interaction I had r.e. a certain soldier addon where people were discomfited by the notion that someone could provide criticism and feedback where the mod creator explicitly asked for this and that someone could have a certain degree of historical knowledge and attention to detail where this was precisely the sort of addon that called for it, and where calm, rational commentary was described as "autist" and a "freakout" (n.b. that this was *before* I ended up losing my cool when the mod creator decided to take the side of the historically illiterate + claim the model file I linked him to was somehow unopenable in Blender + describe my comments as spam), and yeah, the community is increasingly rancid.

Well, erm, the IRL mug can only hold 500 millilitres so, err, you'd be looking at having to do quite a few refills in order to achieve the desired level of spillage.

rabbid, some dude named Luxiere years ago took down a really cool addon but I never found him again.

@Pure @🎮-_MAX_-🎮 Any specific examples (other than func_door of course)? I've got enough going on without having to be paranoid about making non-Workshop backups of whatever addons I like, love, or consider useful.

In func_door's case, he's blaming Steam Support for constantly taking down his stuff for random reasons. He has made it so that his stuff is accessible via a friends-only collection and is actively inviting people to make friend requests so that they can get his stuff that way.

It's rather strange that many authors have started removing addons. It wasn't like that

maybe if func_door reposted his workshop that'll be cool

I wonder why all of func_door's addons got taken down? Copyright reasons?
