Addendum Addendum: ALSO found out that if all the lords from this pack are recruited, it opens up recruitment of the LLs that you have banked from:

... Now whether of not they are still there if one of these lords eats it in battle, that I have not tested.

Addendum: I found a wacky work around that seems appropo. If you make an army with one of the lords from this pack and give them a unit to run around with when you find a fight...

...sacrifice the leader in combat.

Do not get me wrong, you can win the combat with another army, retreat with the one unit, whatever. AS LONG AS THE ORIGINAL ARMY THAT A LL FROM THIS PACK SURVIVES WITHOUT THE LL LEADING IT you get to assign a new leader. That means you can get one of the LLs you have been banking, but not using since this mod seems to block their recruitment.

I get the dilemma of taking in the refuges and any LL or LH, the notification that they are available for recruitment, but never have them show up in the LL listing. Just the four lords from this mod.

Not sure if this mode is still running, the models for my campaign are not working. In battle the lord is carrying a flag and an empire shield. On campaign they look like Ulrika, vampire hero for empire/Kislev. Aside from visuals it seems to work just fine though. Love the mod but the image is discouraging. Any chance for update?

ok so the demon lords arent showing up as much as t posing weapons when i recruit them on the campaign map, havent tried it out on a battle map yet.

@benettonkkb That xp thing actually makes sense, the NPC version of these lords never could get xp, they were never meant to be used by the player. All this mod does is switch on xp, patches them up with skills etc and gives the player a copy. It sounds like some over mod is overwriting mine with the default versions. Maybe moving this mod down your modlist could fix it so it overwrites that other mod instead

@DarknessWrath @JGCarter Yeah I'm currently running with 153 mods right now, so somethings maybe impacting it. Understandable. its pretty strange, as throughout modding all 3 games I've never seen a modded lord outright not be able to gain xp. I even tried using the console to just auto-give experience and that didnt work either.

I don't know what can cause the prob, sometimes it happens also on Slann lords which is wtf too, that's why i'm wondering if it's not the unlocker actually doing some messed things with some mods (Legendary characters for example isn't compatible *yet* with Mixu's Unlocker, but for others having the same prob even on vanilla lords, idk)

Yeah I play with l a good few mods too lol, I just wondered what mod it could be that was messing with it. I wouldn't bet on an unlocker being the problem, I just can't see why it would touch the same stuff this mod touches.

Most people play with some mods i guess now since IE i guess xD, just sad they have bugged models on my side (and i struggle to find why, can be the unlocker i guess)

For me they spawn with a skin of Legendary Characters lord, but it's probably only my side

Hello friend, besides the fact that i like the mod and it seems balance (for vanilla at least) i noticed that having the Princes in the pool (at least on IE) "hides" any possible LL (from other mods like Legendary Characters or Dead's Cultists) until they are recruited, idk if it's because of the mod or if the section has a limit of 4 lords in this place, just saying if it may be an issue or not ^^

hmm that's odd, this isn't a startpos mod so it's probably fixable. For now maybe the "Add lords immediately" submod might fix it if you switch it on on the second turn

yes exactly , cause with the startpost changed, but if you start campagne without mixu and if you bought all deamon lords then you click on ok to the mixu mod and the lords deamon are still in the campagne !!

Well it seems this mod had taken the update better than expected, actually seems to be working except the new mortal units need to be added to the traits. But i'm going to take the chance to change how bits of it work this update, I have a small hope I can get the weapons working

Unfortunately not Ornstein, this was the same trouble I had making this mod, the original daemon prince and the bosses would shimmer between the items. Eventually I figured out I had to make each lord their own type and give each their own unique uniform. So basically each lord needs to be his own unique type of lord to work. When IE comes out I'll see if CA have changed anything, I know they will be giving multiple princes to a faction so if they have it working I'll copy them

So, I combined this mod with another that allows you to summon legendary lords, which allows the ability to recruit an infinite number of these princes. Unfortunately, their appearances overlap, so I was wondering if there were a way to make each separate, identical instance, into entirely separate lords.

The hellstriders thing is just a choice I had to make. Unless CA has fixed it, units can only apply one contact effect so if I gave them warpflame they would lose their poison effect. You can see the same thing with tzeentch spawn and their armour sundering. I can overwrite these with warpflame if people want but I think these units are better off keeping their unique effects. This way the player can apply both contact effects by attacking with say hellstriders and a normal mortal unit. With the blue horrors that would be a glitch but I can't see them in the list. Are you sure it's not an armoury set doing that? I think one of the tzeentch sets could do it?

Hey mate. Great mod, loving the variation it gives so far. I noticed a bug just now. Hellstriders of Slaanesh are a mortal unit, and correctly receive the Librarian's 50% spell resistance. They do not, however, receiv Imbue: Warpflame. Blue Horrors, however, DO receive it, despite being immortal Daemons.
