lmao, someone posted AzoorFox's comment on reddit saying don't be like this guy
I had no idea until I came here to check the 1.6 discourse and saw a familiar comment chain..
Tia 14 hours ago
We absolutely can report them. Not as a concerted effort, but I've certainly been doing it wherever I see them whining like a toddler. Modders deserve appreciation, not petulance. Thank you MJ.

No, we can’t. Even if he’s annoying and unpleasant, he hasn’t done anything over the line.
Atomik Doctor 26 Jun @ 1:28pm
can we all mass report azoorfox for being annoying in every single mod thread
AzoorFox 24 Jun @ 11:08am
WHY???????????????????
pureMJ  [author] 24 Jun @ 10:33am
Mods will be updated once 1.6 is released into the stable version.

UPDATE WHEN?????????????????????
Solarius Scorch 29 May @ 11:49am
@Max Glycine It gets worse... They immediately start devouring them.
I was supposed to eat that!

@Max Glycine
absolutely hands down the best comment ive read in a long time! xD
Max Glycine 13 Jan @ 7:01pm
Absolutely wild that this function isn't in vanilla. I look away from my chicken pen and I suddenly have 40 of them, need to auto-slaughter, and then my colonists just leave the dead chickens in their beds. Imagine the chicken next to it waking up and seeing their brother's cold, dead eyes staring at them. Heartless.
pureMJ  [author] 22 Sep, 2024 @ 5:32pm
@Nefere
I recommend you use the mod "pick up and haul" as well as "while you are nearby". That way, one trip of hauling plant will get all done and random hauling will be triggered when your pawn is nearby.
Nefere 22 Sep, 2024 @ 4:39pm
love this mod, super useful!
idk if it's possible, but I'd love a similar mod but for harvesting plants. getting real tired of marking a bunch of plants for harvesting, only to wonder why we have no food - cause nobody actually hauled anything and it got eaten by animals
H2O 3 Jul, 2024 @ 12:23pm
可算更新了,每次看到我的小人在食物不足的情况下把猎杀后的动物尸体一路搬到垃圾储存区就绷不住。:steamfacepalm:

Updated to 1.5
ZX Zero 28 May, 2024 @ 11:03pm
yes still need this mod
PARTISAN 27 May, 2024 @ 1:57pm
@FubarXS That is incorrect. Pawns still leave corpses lying on the ground after slaughter.
FubarXS 29 Apr, 2024 @ 6:59am
I would say that this mode is no longer needed in version 1.5. I watched my colonists and after killing/hunting an animal they immediately took it to the appropriate place.
kimo之花 22 Apr, 2024 @ 2:41am
这个新版本会出现友军动物无法宰杀的问题
In version 1.5, this mod will have an issue where it is not possible to slaughter friendly animals
RocketRacoon 21 Apr, 2024 @ 1:04pm
Looks like it's not working for me on 1.5
Dark Triad 20 Apr, 2024 @ 2:57pm
1.5?
TheCombatWombat 20 Apr, 2024 @ 6:34am
Does this mod still work or did the update break it?

@Rubber Ducky
shearing or milking only gives a tiny amount of a stack, so it's less efficient to immediately haul them.

So no, this mod does not make them haul after sheering or milking.

I had plans to make a mod so pawns sheer or milk into inventory (especially with the help of "Pick up and Haul) but I haven't been playing rimworld for a while.
Rubber Ducky 12 Nov, 2023 @ 8:59am
does it work after shearing or milking?
Minirobomedic 25 Aug, 2023 @ 10:27am
@marco2000b
Vanilla bug: pawns are only smart enough to haul the MEAT, so any pelts and other byproducts will just be tossed on the ground
pureMJ  [author] 15 Aug, 2023 @ 11:44am
@marco2000b
The vanilla game already does "haul after butchering".
Check out the bill setting in your butcher table, there should be a checkbox for hauling.
marco2000b 15 Aug, 2023 @ 10:36am
Does a mod "Haul after butchering" exists ? It's the only worktype I think where pawn dont haul stuff after completing the bill (pelt and leather everywhere)
Giovanni 4 Apr, 2023 @ 7:20am
Can you do the same for milking? I hate when they just leave buckets of milk around the pen.
trexxet 6 Mar, 2023 @ 8:39pm
If only we could have the same for harvesting plants...
Zephyr 12 Dec, 2022 @ 7:21pm
thank fuck! I was getting tired of everything getting lung rot when some idiot decides to slaughter something in the barn, drop it on the floor in a sleeping spot, and just fucks off leaving it to rot! looking forward t using this so my chicken farm is more farm and less sensless animal cruelty.
Stellar Harbour 9 Dec, 2022 @ 9:29am
All this time I thought it have to work for hunting too lol, just realized...
pureMJ  [author] 7 Dec, 2022 @ 10:55pm
@Sego
"Put items into inventory" is not the samething as "haul".
It requires the mod "pick up and haul" or manual control, which is beyond the scope of this mod.

I do have plans to make another mod for harvesting (not just trees, but more for crops) and putting the yields into inventory and then later upload them. That would be a much more complicated mod and there are many edge cases I need to sort out.
Stellar Harbour 7 Dec, 2022 @ 10:39pm
You don't need go to container till you full
pureMJ  [author] 7 Dec, 2022 @ 7:38pm
@Sego
Haul after cutting small trees are not efficient, even if you do not use pick up and haul.

For example, a cactus yields 15 woods. If you cut then haul, you would need to make 5 trips to harvest 75 woods. If you just keep cutting and haul later, you only need one trip to haul 75 woods.
Stellar Harbour 7 Dec, 2022 @ 6:28am
Can you make haul after cutting cactus/tree?
CarWashMeNot 28 Nov, 2022 @ 3:20pm
is there a mod like this, just for hauling biofuel after extracting it from a boomalope? or for hauling other animals fur and stuff?
pureMJ  [author] 27 Nov, 2022 @ 8:35am
@Hazrad

Yes, your opinion is understandable. We can take a look at how hunting works in vanilla game. Pawns will hunt and kill the animal and immediately haul the corpse. Some people would find that counter productive as well. So one way people "fix" that is to force the hunter to stay in a area that does not include any storage, so that the hunter will keep hunting and let someone else to haul.

In my opinion, hunting is skilled and takes time. It is more favorable to haul for slaughtering than hunting.

At the end of the day, if the hauling distance is short, it is in general more favorable to haul. You can set the "max distance" setting if you do not want your handler to walk too much.
HAZRAD 27 Nov, 2022 @ 4:14am
This actually is counter productive if you dont want youre pawn to do any hauling, and instead just want them to focus on slaughtering animals, and letting others haul the carcass, just sharing my opinion...
pureMJ  [author] 18 Nov, 2022 @ 8:35pm
@Aves
Thanks for the suggestion.

Thinking about it again, there are a few issues:
* Tending is usually already the highest priority. Not much value added by making a mod.
* Sometimes people set tending of certain pawns to low priority, because that pawn might be bad at tending. After all, medical skill matters a LOT in tending.
The Aves 18 Nov, 2022 @ 6:23pm
Such a simple improvement, but so valuable thank you. Have you considered making something like "tend after rescue" assuming that the rescuer is also assigned to medical work? I have no idea how similar the mechanics of that mod would be to this.
pureMJ  [author] 16 Nov, 2022 @ 11:19pm
@tri_idias
This mod didn't have settings in 1.3. The settings page only contained "show debug log" option which is only available at dev mod. It's working as intended.

If you want the new feature and settings added in v0.2.1, you have to upgrade to 1.4. New features won't be released to 1.3 anymore.
