my conclusion: redownload MORE MODS, then i can properly boot in to deactivate them
will report back with results of hunch chasing
But I noticed that several named pilots (Mist, Preacher, Chainsaw), still have a few punctuation errors in their subtitles. Is there any way that can be fixed client side, or does it have to be fixed, repackaged and reuploaded?
though i havent tried any of this hehe
thanks !
1. Unsubscribe from PilotOverhaul.
2. Go to Nexus and download/install the MW5 Mod Compatibility Pack (Steam one could be outdated, or maybe I installed things in the wrong order earlier).
3. Subscribe to PilotOverhaul
This is all assuming you don't have any other incompatible mods affecting pilots.
try adding this first https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2677870592&searchtext=Compatibility+Pack
The files containing the actual mod contents are exactly same(confirmed with a folder/file comparison utility).
It appears that the modder was simply forgot to mod description to 7.0.4.
Just use the MW5 "Load Order Configurator" from Nexus Mods. ;)

I've never ever had that happen before, so I'm quite confused by it hehe
