I think what you need to start doing, and frankly a lot of other workshop contributors should be doing as well, is thinking to yourself, "How many practical outfits can this item go with?". With that philosophy alone, you'd be making items that people would not only want to wear, but would appreciate in any quality, from unique to strange-unusual.

what I would say would work ALOT Better is have this as a Halloween cosmetic and instead of it just clamped to his head its BASHED into his skull and stuck sticking out of his of his head
That would look A HELL OF ALOT BETTER
overall decent for a first cosmetic but needs some work or a redesign to make it better 5/10
