superenergyregulator, with an accompanying dumb description
Super Regulator could definitely be a amped verson of the standard, Epstein Drive module could be an alternative engine that costs power to use, and Autonomous Repair Module could be a sort of nexus
the repair module has a large number of DC teams, and many restores, but once destroyed it causes all automated DC teams to shut down and become inactive. may also be somewhat flimsy.
AUSPICE could be reduced down to a general RADAR improvement, and like, +3-4 channels. Remember, defensive missiles need no programming!
that said, it might want to fold in the Scryer module's functions as well.
What I think could work well, is a version of the Super Regulator where the 200% movement bonus and 10000kw remain, but all other buffs in the module are brought down to say, +25~50% max. If that were a mod on its own, no one would be tempted to sneak something in like pocket dimension ammo.
Alternately, split those bonuses among different systems; A 10000kw reactor, a +200% engine module, a gun plotting centre with -25% spread/reload time, etc... That would also force players to actually fill out their ships properly, rather than just spamming energy regulators, so it should more adequately self-regulate - though that is also a lot more work, and you can choose to do what you like with your mods.
Cheers, and good job, mate.
i guess i forgot to change the actual mod title
