I would never, ever, say to someone "yeah, do that!". Time is precious, even when mere passion is involved.

That being said, i really believe that there is a "small but passionate" group of shadowrun gamers.

I don't know what you will decide to do, the only very small thing i can do is to offer you a ton of points as an "offer", for what you already did, and if you'll indeed finish this i am sure i won't be the only one happy.

Cheers to you!

@Skree, Hi! Many thanks for the kind comment :er_heart: ! I'm really glad that I managed to make something that people can still enjoy even after a long time with no follow up... I actually have had the story at the back of my mind for years now since I had a lot of fun making it in the first place haha! Maybe I should give the editing tools another look and have one more shot at finishing it.

Still people who play this. Even after all this time. Thank you for creating this, and it's a real shame this will remain orphaned.

Just finished my first playthrough. I really liked it and im anxiously waiting for the next part! (subtle hint for an update) I played as a Shaman and i had no Problems. The summoning points were very well put and
The summoning points were very well put and I only had to use my own elementals in the last fight.

One mayor critique: The armory in the infiltraded building doesn't work well. You can only use it once (you cant reenter the options) use all 3 loot options and flood your inventory. But until the end of the game you have no opportunity to enter your stash again and distribute all the items. I would recommend making the armory reusable and putting a stash next to it

I hope part 2 will be available soon!

@apostrophe' : Thanks alot for the feedback! I cant be certain that there is a charisma opportunity anywhere to be honest, and although there is no NPC shaman there are some summoning locations for players (I am working extremely slowly on part 2 (still) and a more balanced experience for all classes is something I wanted to achieve!)
apostrophejj 7 Oct, 2015 @ 3:29am
Great mission! Good writing and pacing. Interesting characters and tight but effective level design. Fun and compelling. Hurting for the part 2.

Some things -I was a rigger, and bought me a new drone at the market, just because I could, and never got to use it; also, few drone repairkits. The should be rethought. -Was there at least one shaman in the mission? -Was there at least one charisma opportunity dialogue line?

This is strong work, can't wait for the next part

So, after some heat in Hong Kong
We need part two so bad
We need it so bad that it's driving us mad
And our need is deep as I've said
About four maps we have read
In joy we are spaming the thread
With lyrical verse without remorse
We hope it will come to the end!
Kerfuffle  [author] 16 Aug, 2015 @ 8:51am
@LinkssOfSigil: Thanks alot!! I'm still trying to get back into part 2, hopefully will be finished some time soon ... hopefully!
LinkssOfSigil 14 Aug, 2015 @ 2:28pm
One of the best UGC for Shadowrun. Short, but awesome plot with remarkable characters.
Hope you continue your work with that jewel among the other storyies) In the Hong Kong-version, if you can/prefer)
Honzou 7 Aug, 2015 @ 7:33pm
Well I played this and I have to say... Damn this is so very good! I really wanted to see more of this.

Khonshu approves of this UGC.

@Socks :-) it takes patience and persistance to mod, but also, encouragement! Before you mod, everytime, listen to or watch something encouraging. Get yourself pumped up, it's the only way to continue, but on and off seasons are normal really. Look up "encourage mint" on google ;-)
Kerfuffle  [author] 25 Jul, 2015 @ 6:51am
@powerlovesound: It was abandoned, sorry! But I think I'll go back to it now since its been a shamefully long time since I worked on it last...
Frenne Dilley 25 Jul, 2015 @ 1:00am
Hoping, hoping, HOPING this doesn't get abandoned :Corpus:

CyclopticBrawler 15 Mar, 2015 @ 1:43pm
Excellent work. Fun, engaging and well thought out. Love the work done on the npcs. Really makes you care about/hate them. I'm looking forward to the continuation.

@innervisionary : thanks for playing and the feedback! ill take another look at the lighting in the next chapters
innervisionary 2 Nov, 2014 @ 3:32pm
Nice job here, can't wait for the next chapters! Only slightly negative thing to say : maps are really too dark, good for the mood, but hard to play sometimes.
HouchDaddy 27 Oct, 2014 @ 11:05pm
I wish i knew how to make games i have a billion ideas like script wise storyline etc.
HouchDaddy 27 Oct, 2014 @ 11:04pm
its ok im sure it wont be you are awesome man even if it is you still made part 1 haha..
Kerfuffle  [author] 23 Oct, 2014 @ 4:18am
Still working on and off on part2. Im kinda putting it off incase its a let down lol :p but its about 1/4 done atm I guess (sorry for slowness)
HouchDaddy 22 Oct, 2014 @ 11:09am
Socks when or do you plan to make a sequel? Im still anticipating it haha just as much as the next expansion.
Ze Commissar 21 Sep, 2014 @ 9:15pm
I absolutely loved a chance to play as a corporate heavy. It was really fun to play as one of the "bad guys". I loved not having to be the underdog for once.
wisdomknowledgeandskill 13 Sep, 2014 @ 7:10pm
Another part of gaming I def. am looking forward to getting back to.... this totally took on all the subtleties of the Shadowrunner Universe and shoved them right in everyone's face (which in one mod is a pretty good thing). Simultaneously it catered to widely appealing literature that's very current-- not a rip of of Katniss, by any means, but a true Shadowrunner... ok, I've already touched on spoilers too much, sorry.... but a fresh look at *SPOILER ALERT* dystopia versus the People trying to get back some liberty. Dark, lucid writing... original backdrop for characters. (you're not a peasant ;) ).. (cont'd)
Kerfuffle  [author] 13 Sep, 2014 @ 5:31am
Thanks all! Wish I could reply individually lol

Onizuka 8 Sep, 2014 @ 9:49am
I really liked this story. Good to see a well polished campaign. Hope to see more of this in the future!
mosherk 31 Aug, 2014 @ 4:47pm
Good job! While I hate playing a heavy, I hope to get a chance to redeem myself in the next episode. LOL
Lazy dog 23 Aug, 2014 @ 10:51am
Good to see still people do campaigns, I definately test this up. Oh, its so good to shadowrun again
K-no-K / 九尾の狐 23 Aug, 2014 @ 6:40am
Very nice first episode. Even though the decisions were limited they were there. I enjoyed it and hope there will be another chapter. I commend your hard work !!!
Thanquol 22 Aug, 2014 @ 5:59am
Helicopter don't work.
D 16 Aug, 2014 @ 2:50pm
Really good story, can´t wait for part 2
Alluz 15 Aug, 2014 @ 1:14pm
Hi. Very intresting start for a campaign so hopefully we'll see how this all ends.
As for technical points I didn't encounter any bugs, but couple of typos got into the dialogue. So basicly minor details that need little work.
So a very good start.
TrinJeto 12 Aug, 2014 @ 2:30pm
This is a pretty good story. I encountered some bugs here and there such as repeated conversations and bugged combat mechanics, but not anything too drastic. Great job Socks!
kagjasg 10 Aug, 2014 @ 2:36pm
Extremly well written story! Strongly recommend this one!
icarus_falling669 9 Aug, 2014 @ 5:31pm

Kerfuffle  [author] 7 Aug, 2014 @ 6:57am
@Philsco: Thanks, good to know im not going crazy solo :P
All Thriller No Philler 7 Aug, 2014 @ 1:08am
Keep it up! Though don't feel too overwhelmed...or alone! That "some sort of mental breakdown" happens to oooooh, I'd say 90% of modders on a weekly basis :P
Kerfuffle  [author] 6 Aug, 2014 @ 3:11pm
@neo_ruka: (and everybody else that I haven't replied to) Thanks alot! :D
r_darkstorm 6 Aug, 2014 @ 3:07pm

SwampMaoist 28 Jul, 2014 @ 8:04pm
The Corvallis on the thumbnail is missing an L. Thought you should know.
Mizaroth 28 Jul, 2014 @ 3:01pm
Excellent!! thoroughly enjoyed this ugc! It was bug free, challenging and engaging. My choices had a dramatic impact on the story, which was fantastic. Loved the characters. Eagerly awaiting the next part! Thanks Socks!!
Panthros 27 Jul, 2014 @ 2:15pm
Just completed the mod and I want to thank you for taking the time and energy to do this. I hope you come back to work on 2 after a much needed break. This is definitely worth playing through. My only comment would be I would love to see some opportunities to hack and use my cyber skills ;)
thatweezle 27 Jul, 2014 @ 5:22am
Very cool. I hope you'll come back to this project some day, it's clearly very well thought out.
Mr. Eaten 26 Jul, 2014 @ 10:13pm
Looks good, doesn't have the un-natural look most UGC have. Like the dead hallways that are actually outside. Or Grid like levels. Looks very natural.
ExorcistAzul 25 Jul, 2014 @ 11:15pm
I just finish part 1 of an alightment. i like the idea about the tokens as a reflection of the choices that I have made. please do continue since it looks to be very promising.
Colombo 24 Jul, 2014 @ 11:59pm
Don't be hard on yourself, don't forget that horrible bug of skipping whole turn when you decide to move the last character first.
