Haven't made any changes to this mod in quite a while. Doubt it suddenly bugged and nobody else is reporting an issue.

Hello, I love this mod. Every city in my republics has one of your huge monuments in the center. But could it be that the mod has an effect bug at the moment? I don't think it currently works in my maps.

Well done 👍
I'll just manually adjust the range to make it less, and the loyalty amounts myself.
Novu  [author] 20 Jun, 2023 @ 5:28am
I set the smaller ones to drain 0.3MWh and large one require 0.5MWh
Vimes 20 Jun, 2023 @ 4:55am
IIRC there are three of them needing electricity that need to be altered :)
Novu  [author] 20 Jun, 2023 @ 4:50am
I see, thanks
Vimes 20 Jun, 2023 @ 4:44am
It seems...........

The problem is that the tag for buildings $MONUMENT_ELETRIC_CONSUMPTION_ADD, needs to have a value $MONUMENT_ELETRIC_CONSUMPTION_ADD 1.0 In this mod, the value is missing

There seems to be a error with the monument to cause the display of the substation providing it power to give very erratic and wrong readings.

I have not been able to reproduce the power consumption bug. However, I did add new versions of these monuments that do not use electricity at all. This should allow players to side step any electrical bugs by using the Unpowered versions. Of course the unpowered ones do not light up at night.

Power consumption problems, consumption figures are negative, fix please
jochemvanstaey 4 Jun, 2022 @ 11:38am
Has an incredible high electricity consumption, causing grid problems

Novu 👍

It is not related to the Kepler–Poinsot polyhedron. It is an irregular 9 pointed star that that looks like a 5 pointed star from most angles. The shape was invented by sculptor and artist named William McVey.
Shotkey 20 May, 2022 @ 6:33am
Kepler–Poinsot polyhedron on the top?
ekesandras2000 19 May, 2022 @ 6:26am
The monument has some incredible electricity consumption. As soon as I finished building this obelisc it crashed my power grid. Therefor I destroyed it immediately after finishing. Sorry to say, because it looked good in my city.

I found the screenshot and build the monument a second time. It does not complete too.

Check the money if you want to finish it with money. Both times below 0 (minus).
ZILonaut 10 May, 2022 @ 8:23am
I made a screenshot but it's gone. Screenshots are a piece of **** in steam.
I build the 50% 1000m monument. I teared it down and build it with money. That worked fine.
Novu  [author] 10 May, 2022 @ 7:48am
Which monument did you build and do you have a screenshot?
ZILonaut 10 May, 2022 @ 6:54am
I build it with my workers and it doesn't complete. Some problem with the last stage of building.
When i want to finish with rubles, it shows -479. That means i get money return.

Wow, thank you, by Victory Day (May 9) it will fit perfectly.
Vimes 8 May, 2022 @ 1:27am
I haven't noticed a monument requiring electrical power, I have noted some others that light up at night and wondered how they could if they didn't have electricity.

The Devs haven't allowed for that - you can see the range and influence test overwrites the power meters.
I have noted it as a minor bug for the Devs to consider their text placement.

Not noticed it as yet at night, great that it does illuminate. Well done.
Novu  [author] 8 May, 2022 @ 1:04am
It uses power so it lights up at night.
Vimes 7 May, 2022 @ 11:53pm
Thanks for the update but for some reason the monument now needs power.....

I reduced the Lenin one to 350m and a loyalty of 8 :)
jockeril 7 May, 2022 @ 10:40am
I like the size, but think it OTT as well - I'd go with 500m and 10-15% increase in loyalty so it's not too cheaty
Novu  [author] 7 May, 2022 @ 9:08am
You can always rename the monument and dedicate it to whomever you want.
ArNiSk 7 May, 2022 @ 5:58am
@Novu Duke Flapjack has a point.
Many communist countries appealed to the national history, and images.

For in stance, Communist Party of China praises Dr. Sun Yat Sen, the founder of KMT, as the father of modern China.
Duke Flapjack 7 May, 2022 @ 4:24am
I agree with @vad.kam.ru. Since statues like this are pretty much just propaganda it would make sense to have versions that appeal to local people's sense of nostalgia. A communist America would probably still hold the founding fathers in high regard and ignore the whole "owning slaves" thing.

All in all it's a cool building regardless.
Novu  [author] 7 May, 2022 @ 4:07am
Why Washington? He owned slaves.

Might make on with Lenin on top instead of the star. That one will have lesser stats so it is not so cheaty.
vad.kam.ru 7 May, 2022 @ 2:21am
Make a monument to Washington
Vimes 6 May, 2022 @ 11:30pm
Thanks for sharing, looks very nice.
I can't seem to find the monument if I use the bottom menu option, I don't think that I'm just missing it.
I do find it if I use the mod menu on the left and then look under monuments.

I like it but feel it is way OTT in terms of range and strength. 50% loyalty is a huge bonus. I have reduced it to 10, perhaps I might lower that. I have also reduced the range to 500m.

This is at 1000

again many thanks for sharing, most appreciated.
