strangely, the bots seems to be unable to repair the oxygen generator on this sub.

It's basically a cosmetic Drone hatch. You can technically make your own mini-shuttle/drone to mount onto that front hatch, but the ship is already monstrous. I guess a small cargo drone could work to minimise further performance loss. But again, as OP has said. A drone would probably be too much

It's not a matter of not knowing how to make a drone. The ship alone has FPS issues so I decided to not add a drone as that would just make things even worse.
Hopefully one day we get a more optimized wiring system so I can do a sub like this that is actually playable above 20 fps...

There are some simple drones on the workshop that are just used for light and maybe storage. Consider using one of those? Maybe load a suicide nuclear depth charge if you want to get spicy with it.

And also, sometimes the AI can't seal leaks behind where the Oxygen Generator is (Lower Mid left corner), they would just get stuck in the Utility Compartment

Great sub, nice design and quirks. You need to change the automatic doors, the rear-top ballast door kept getting opened unintentionally (or just make it not automatic). The AI doesn't like where the Oxygen Generator is, so they cant repair it if the generator is broken. The AI sometimes get stuck while trying to open the doors (while in Lock-down). Overall great and nice for everything is.

And it will be great if the gun control more simpler (new sub version i would say), because it seems like the AI doesn't like the one periscope two guns design. It is just my opinion and feedback.

The submarine is already pushing it for component count, adding a drone would make it run even worse. As such, I decided to not include a drone.

I playtested it, and it was barely playable even with the FPS improvement mod.

A submarine, very cool, albeit with its own quirks. But when will you make a drone/shuttle for Astral? There is a compartment for a drone, but there is no drone itself. And many drones from the workshop are not suitable.

Thanks for the reports, the anniversary update seems to have changed some wiring logic, which caused the periscope view to not follow the signal properly when going through multiple relays.

I've posted an update that should fix this without losing any functionality.

Hello, noticed that the chainguns do not automatically swap when reaching the aiming deadzone. Any fix for that?

By holding the trigger, the heat goes up. While the trigger is not held, the heat goes down.

You need to be in combat, siege or overdrive mode toggled inside the captain's room.

There's a box you can tick that makes things take no damage. It's near the top of the editing thing.

Hello. How did you make the volatile rod infinite. Did you use the console command? I tried using setentityproperty, but can't right property to change.

I've noticed the same thing. The airlock circuit cycles the door after 5 seconds no matter what, so if someone closes the door manually, it will cycle it back open. You can fix it by clicking the cycling button twice in a quick succession.

First off i really like this sub. It's stylish looking and has a lot of QoL features. However me and my crew found a potential bug. The top hatch seems to sometimes refuse to go back to normal mode after leaving the ship under water. It just constantly refloods itself even if you close it from any direction. We don't really know what causes it and it does not always seem to happen either.

@Cryzone1 The guns are angle-switched, moving your mouse over the zero angle line will swap between the top and bottom hardpoint.

It should be AI compatible for the most part. They just don't know how to operate the main guns and sometimes loiter around the volatile fulgurium rod, getting radiation poisoning. I have not tested in singleplayer though so cannot guarantee every part of the AI working.

其次你可以考虑把当前门的形式改成mod,即贴图替换已实现灯光效果而不是通过电路来实现

They are very much a convenience though, not having to stop and click a button every time and to have an automatically locked ballast tank as well, very useful. If a bit overboard with the amount of lights for every possibility :D

I actually checked how much of the ship is for the logic: Around 60% of the item count is just from components and their wiring!
The doors make up bulk of it though, being almost 1500 items in total combined.

I just subscribed out of curiosity to see how the detailing outside was done and after looking at the wiring I think I had that telling realisation of how little I understand the submarine designer even after a few days of exclusively playing Barotrauma... Man this is some really involved logic gating. Very cool though.

The latest update indeed did fix the problems, I've added the two items required to mostly fix the heat mechanics in the description. The weapon still heats up fairly slow and I couldn't find the cause for that.

I tested it and the mechanics themselves can be made to work but the batteries and supercapacitors break even when they are on the list. Although I did read this might have been fixed in a new update.

you can use it with performace fix if you add all the components involved in the failing systems to the priority list, take a look at what they are and put the list here to make it easier for people

I've updated the ship to fix the AI pathfinding issues in the following rooms:
Reactor, Gunnery, Moonpool, Cargo Bilge, Front Ballast

They should be able to get everywhere now!

I've also noticed they have trouble welding in the gunner room but despite modifying it so there's a hidden platform or altering the hull in some way they just like to flop around in one spot of the room despite being right up to it in welding distance. Despite patting though great job on the design and I look forward to using it once all is fixed

@★⋆Skylar⋆★ Thanks! I am aware of the AI pathfinding issues in the cargo hold bilge and the moonpool, let me know if you find more spots where bots cannot repair the shell/get stuck. General balance feedback would also be appreciated; The main guns and the overdrive system shouldn't feel too strong, it's meant for a campaign after all.
