@Lebtron @Axeface I have now deleted all XML files per Axeface and now only have lod files in both turret mods and the Split shield mod.

@Axeface thanks for catching that. @Axeface if your ok with it, I think it would be better if you updated the mods here on Steam and/or else where. I quit modding back in the X3TC days and do not fully understand the new architecture and would not have known any of this if not for you.

@Lebtron @Vital Tools I just realised that these mods also include the xmls for the components, these need to be removed too because they cause issues with what ships can mount due to tag changes in 6.0. I also went through and deleted files that wernt modified close to the release date of the mod - not sure if egosoft have made changes to these in 6.0 so better save than sorry. So these mods should only include the xxxxx-lod0/lod1/lod2/lod3 files, so delete xmls and -collision meshes and package back into a subst_01 archive.

@Axeface. Thanks a lot for playing around with the mod. There is no particular reason for the collision meshes in the mod. I did just copy/paste the original files.

Unfortunately I can neither play the game nor change anything on the mods at the moment. If anybody wants to republish them for 6.0, feel free to do so. I can even link to it in the description. Otherwise it will take quite a while until I get to it myself

@Axeface I keep getting the default turret color after removing all the XML/XMF files from all the folder that have collision in the name. What files did you remove exactly?

@Lebtron Thanks for your mods, just thought ide mention that I got them working fine with 6.0 by just removing all the collision meshes - im not sure if there is a reason you included them but the mods work fine without them.

Thank you for the information. I feared something like this with the introduction of the new physics engine. The mod must be completely revised with the new version 6.0. Unfortunately I don't have the time to do that at the moment. I have therefore adjusted the titles of my mods so that it is clear that they only work up to version 5.

Hey this causes a catastrophic population of the debug log when you're around any paranid ship on the x4 beta 5. In my three hour play session this populated over 13 million entries and swelled my debug log to 1.1 GB. It was just errors of invalid collision meshes on the L beam turret over and over again.This doesn't seem to actually have a GAME effect, but it destroys the debug log.

@BarricadePrime The terran turrets and shield do not disturb me that much. White is neutral enough for me, they fit to many paint jobs
