You can disable them with apocrypha's config. You can open it by holding pause, unless you have mod config menu, then you can just open it from that. :)

can you somehow add an option to the dead sea scrolls menu to disable all floppy related things? they tend to replace stuff theyre not supposed to with other mods

Multiple things in this mod executes code every frame and on entering a room which causes FPS loss. Please look into this issue and see if anything can be done about making this mod more FPS friendly. This mod is not playable in a mod pack due to these features and I cannot keep this mod enabled. Great work regardless, hope that the issue will be fixed soon. I found that "Post New Room - Remove Effect" and "Post Render -Frozen Vel..." as well as "Post Render 'to disk update'" as well. Hope this helps you in some way

To Note: Out of an overabundance of caution, this updating I'm resetting savefiles to default and updated the mod's ability to detect and correct failed save data. This should fix an issues with mod loading caused by maligned save data, but you will have to reset any config options in the config menu.

It's. Probably fixed. Not all the bugs, I probably won't be able to get around to them given my current...living situation. But it should run again. Let me know if you have any other issues in the bug thread and I'll do my best to get to any super pressing ones.

Mod is dead. Nothing works. Floppy disks? Ded. Worm trinkets and transformation? Ded. Some things don't even have textures ffs...

Pretty much none of these items do anything.

Bruh, ths mod literally doesn't work how it's supposed to be, and it's been a lot of time, and it doesn't look like it would be fixed, seems the author doesn't care.

And so, the wait begins again...

Losing hope in this mod, which is unfortunate because I really enjoyed how floppy discs worked and such. Shame they basically dropped so quickly...
They could at least communicate with us to tell us if something is wrong, or why things might be taking awhile. When they don't, it just makes it look like a dead project people should pass up.

some items worked at first, but now most cause game crashes. rlly hope it gets fixed

I really hope that whatever is happening with this mod is only temporary and that developer/s are going to fix it soon. The items and features are already there, it would be a shame for a good mod to just die like this...

@Bitz I'm just gonna unsubscribe from this until the creator decides to fix it. There isn't even a spot on the Trello for these issues as far as I noticed. Oh well.

Yeah, this mod seems to be completely bugged, so bugged, infact, that the mod acts as if it's seemingly disabled, I've spawned quite a few items from the mod and none of them worked.

Disk Drive doesn't spawn floppy disks. Used it and nothing happened.

i found an item what "spawn a random floppy" but didnt do anything and i think i cant found floppy... never spawn

I had played with this mod and got the floppy discs just fine, then yesterday when I played a floppy disc spawned and had no description with the external item description mod. Then when I used it out of curiosity nothing happened that I could tell. Don't know if it was a fluke or not, but thought I should mention it. Also I had found the lapis key, and maybe I don't understand what it's meant to do, but I couldn't seem to get it to work. I'd enter the super secret room and nothing would be different. Great Mod despite the confusion!

My problem with this mod is that I see nothing from it except items that drop floppy disks, and i never get the floppy disks

Not to add to the fire but nothing really works for me, it did for the first run but once i left and came back nothing did. Floppies don't spawn but items do, though they don't have any effect.

When 2nd player shoots a fire the game crashes

same issue floppies stopped spawning at all came here to check if someone else had the issue.

Some of the pills that come from this mod do nothing when used. I did some research and it turns out that they are the pills that were designed to be disabled. They are still spawning in regardless and have no effect.

Yeah I'm still having trouble figuring that out. I don't have a lot of time to program right now due to life stuff, but I will get to it as soon as I can, sorry!

I'm not sure if this was commented already, but for me, floppy disks don't spawn, and the disk-related items don't drop disks / do anything. They worked when I first downloaded the mod, but have ceased to work since.

That's actually on purpose lol. Floppies generate from a pool of 20 effects, but there's only like 10 actually floppy active items, so the names are rendered via code overtop of the normal stuff. If for some reason that code isnt loading properly ect it would cause the render to fail and also for them to have no effect obviously, but them being named empty names is intentional to make them work properly :P

I may have found a possible lead. Floppies don't have names assigned to them within pocketitems.xml. that could potentially be the issue?

Sounds like normal chances. Seems lots of people are having issues with it ATM, I'll have to try just testing it a bunch to see what light be causing the issues tbh cuz I have no idea. Works fine on my PC afaik so not sure

Hello, mod it's not working. Items appear in the run but don't have any effect.

I checked the Config menu for the Floppy Disk chances, and I’m not really sure how to describe the percentages here, so I’ll just use the bar ticks as a (number)/10 for all the ones in the category.

Voiceline Chance 5/10
Silly Chance 1/10
Corruption Chance 3/10
Room Clear Chance 2/10
Replace Pickup Chance 3/10

Coprolite is designed to drop as often as petrified poop, I checked the code and the % chance is like 2% but a lot of people are reporting really high drop rates for it, not sure why. It might be related to the seed the rng is using not properly differing between runs, and its on the list of stuff I have to look into.

As for 6 pounder and hud offsets, it seems some mods cause the hudoffset value to break in apocrypha, I do plan on fixing it though when I have time

why is coprolite dropping alot? i feel like it should drop less, i see it waaay too commonly, like its now a bad trinket but also im tired of seeing it. Could you make it drop less often? like maybe petrified poop amount of often or something?
