@Catoscar, it seems like there's update and scriptable GUI is a thing. Do they do something to make on_action more compatible. Iirc I just try to avoid stuff that might led to incompatibility.
Mod works great with Anbennar =)
@makkid, I'm not sure if there are some changes but I just exported it over. Now this mod should have the same version of Third Odyssey current trade node setup.
Do u happen to notice anything specific prior to the crash? I recall adding some last minute change to Regional Trade Hub after my play test (to address oversight on foster trade hub). So I highly suspect those are the cause of the issue.
This is the Anbennar version I use.
I enabled both Large City and Largest City.
1. Considered a city (not an unfinished colony)
2. Not owned by native tribes.
Is there any province in those New World's trade nodes in Anbennar that fulfill those conditions on your game?
The difficulty to overtake the Regional Trade Hub position is intentional. I think I can see the modifier get a minor debuff, but else I like to keep current design.
That said you can navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\2806187125\common\event_modifiers\RTH_modifiers.txt to change "RTH_regional_trade_hub_modifier" to one you prefer better. The list of modifiers is there in EU4 wiki.
Currently, I am working on covert action and peace treaty that can affect province trade power but I haven't really get it right. They should help to overtake a Regional Trade Hub.
@victorbernatas thanks for pointing it out, there should be a way to overtake status as Regional Trade Hub. War is definitely an option, I think diplomacy and maybe espionage should also be viable options as well. I appreciate the feedback and will look into it.
Do you have suggestion on how to better balance the mod features?
Regarding the regional trade center, you can be in a trade node where a city has both a port and natural harbor. Now with the added "regional trade hub" buff, it's virtually impossible to ever overtake it. I played in Flanders, spawned facetting in Antwerpen, made it a World Port, used the trade power edict and was still just below London. Once England upgraded London to World port, it was over, no modifier in the game would allow me to ever have more trade power in one of my cities.
