Is there a way to get barbarian clans mode to work with your TSL maps? When they turn into city states they become 'ghost' city states that you can interact with

@Talon 23J: That is similar to my experience as well. I don't think it's a problem of Got Lakes either. It's just since the Leader Pass the game can't seem to handle as many mods as before.

@Skylar Saphyr: Ok. My assumption there was something between those mods and your mods. I had not added a mod since October. For giggles I went back and looked at the mods I am subscribed to. I am not sure how it is related. Got Lakes had an update on 28 January which is 5 days after I subscribed to yours. I disabled Got Lakes and enabled yours with no issue.

@Talon 23J: They work for me though. AFAIK the issue is not related to particular mods but a combination. I think if you disable some other mods (especially those resource-heavy ones) but leave YnAMP (and this map) on, the issue may resolve itself.

FYI. Quick Deals and Extended Policy Cards do not work with this mod (and Yet (not) Another Map pack). I did not even select mod to use. I disabled the two mods and Quick Deals and Extended Policy cards was back.

@civisterrae This mod is just a map and touches nothing graphics-wise, nor does it involve any game assets.

You need to check for mod conflicts on your end, especially those with a lot of assets, because this sounds like you have gone over your asset limit.

Dear Skylar, thank you for your answers. I have an issue with your maps and I am unable to pinpoint the problem. I am currently using about 100 mods, I know it is a lot, but when I load the database and start a game using your maps, I am getting blue terrain graphical bugs, there is no sea, everything else is intact. This does not happen on vanilla maps with the same mods. Do you have any clue how I can fix this? It is getting frustrating :(

Love the map can't wait to play it, also have you ever tough of putting Daenvil's Moors and Galicia mod in your TSL maps, more iberian civs :D

@civisterrae: As for the examples you mentioned, Kievan Rus will start in mirror Europe because its main TSL in normal Europe is too close to Peter's. Boudicca will start in normal Europe because its TSL does not conflict with Eleanor, who starts at Poitiers (not London). If Victoria is present though, Boudicca will be in mirror Europe.

@civisterrae: All civs have 2 TSLs on this map, 1 main & 1 alternative. YnAMP places players at their main TSL, unless it's occupied already or too close to another player, then the player will be placed at the alternative TSL.

In this map's default Map.xml, all civs & CS have their main TSL in normal Europe. In Map-EvenDistribution.xml, half of the official civs, official & custom CS have their main TSL in mirror Europe.

I haven't switched up the main & alternative TSLs for custom civs as there're so many & more importantly each player uses a different set of civs: it's simply impossible to distribute them evenly when it isn't known what & how many civs a player uses.

So what you may do to ensure even distribution for your set of civs is to edit your Map.xml in a text editor. In the XML you will see the 2 TSL for each civ; just move the AlternateStart="1" text from 1 line to another (1st line is normal Europe, 2nd is mirror) & you'll have moved a civ to another Europe.

Here's a question, how do I set the map up if I want to play with custom civs + official civs?

Let's say I wanna take both Kievan Rus and Russia, but I want them to spawn in their symmetrical positions on the map, not spawn side by side. And the same for Boudicca and English Eleanor, how should I set it up? Simple select them both and they will spawn in the opposite places?

What a bizarre idea. I absolutely love it. This way ensures that all the squished civs in certain parts of the map get ample space to expand! This is really wacky and, frankly, amazing. Thanks Saph!
