Big fan of this sub-zero character just wished he had some more alts maybe some based on the other UMK3 ninjas or other characters from the franchise

This fella is very neat and it makes me happy to see some MK characters made for ROA though however I think he could use some more stuff to him. I feel a lot of his ice mechanics arent as punished as they could be like i feel given this is ROA he could be able to use his ice clones to get around more or be able to hit them around. either way im curious as to waht other plans you have for this fella

This fighter is very cool but I feel like his Nspecial and jabs should hit a bit lower for balance reasons. When fighting most of the main cast both attacks go right over their heads and can only hit if the enemy is already airborne. Aside from that this is a great addition to the workshop.

It doesn't hurt to get more creative with a more diverse move set for Sub-Zero. It would be cool that instead of air Forward Special just being another Ice Ball, Slide could be used for a recovery tool with him creating an ice path to slide on while sliding slightly downwards. His dash attack would be the Cold Shoulder instead of just another version of the forward tile kick. Cryo Blast seems way too mediocre as a recovery move to be useful most of the time, so why not give him a teleport he has in other games like Injustice 2 with Ice Port?

Overall I think Sub-Zero is pretty good, he's pretty fun to play in my time playing with him for a bit but there's two small issues I have with it. It feels his combo game is dependent on the character he's fighting, and even more so his options. This isn't just limited to mod character but base roster as well, where some attacks completely whiff all together with how short his opponents can be. Making him much more predictable on what he'll do if you're small like Ori, I think just increasing his hotboxes slightly on his normals would fix this. So someone like Ori isn't completely invincible to his jab and side tilt. Another issue I discovered was when I played dittos with friends, if the other Sub-Zero shoots an ice ball or ice clone while you do yours, it deletes what you had set out. Which can be annoying when you're both trying to use ice clones at the same time. Overall though I liked him a lot, he feels very rewarding to play and get some kills with :)

Ok, played around with him a little bit and ice ball needs a huge nerf. Everything else is pretty good. The problem with ice ball is that the air version and the ground version are on two different cooldowns. Which means you can do up tilt, short-hop ice ball, and basically rinse and repeat. Plus with air ice ball you can do this weird thing were if you hold down you actually go down a little which opens up more combos, but is probably not intentional. Overall though, he is really really fun. he feels very execution heavy to me, which is how a MK character should be imo.

I legitimately adore this. looking good so far! I only have a minor gripe about it, what with the sprites being a bit on the bigger side. other than that one thing, it's super solid! cool, even.

About time for another Mortal Kombat character since scorpion. I was making a different MK character for a while until I ran into “development hell” for almost two years. I hope someday I can return to my project once I settle my problems involving the way I make the character.
