Report a translation problem
Can I use this unit without running ARM or not (is it a "hard" or "soft" requirement to run with the Army recruitment mechanics mod)? It seems it is required from the comments below - which means I won't be able to use it sadly. Just clarifying if I understood correctly. My mother language is German, sorry :)
I understand that you HAVE to use "Army recruitment machanics" in order to use the mod in campaign, otherwise it will CRASH. If not let me know please. You should add it to the description too ("requires ....") as it could be a soft requirement in this case. Thanks!

For my new Kislev campaign i activated it again and after recruiting one of those units thats when i run in the crashing issue (bc of the missing ARM).
(As soon as i clicked the Army which had the unit recruited the game crashed)
I only found out that the unit mod is the cause for the crash bc i started that very day using a mod manager which pointed in the direction of the cause.
I then subbed to ARM which solved the problem for a while ... until it started crashing again.
After disbanding the units and deaktivating both mods the problem was solved again and i assumed the real cause was on my side with activating ARM mid campaign
Thats why i did not report a problem adressing you as the creator, my comment was directed at DalaranPhoenix but i failed to make that clear and did not pay attention to the date of DalaranPhoenix's comment.
What is the problem? Use the MCT panel to disable technologies that you don't like in ARM mode.
I was lucky - had to remove the unit bc it forces you to use the "ARM"-mod as soon as you recruited one of the Halberd+Bow units bc it just crashes after that point without it ... which causes additional crashing further down the line. I guess bc i added it to an existing save.
