it seems the fix in 3.15 is whats causing it as the first 3.15 update had physics optimizations that where removed in the second 2 versions but same issue presumably

there was a fix for something that seems to have caused a issue before to as the logs says it was updated then reverted back to before the update then updated agian to fix it again and its caused the same bug from what i can guess

also the ship is sunk even when i level it by the gyros

yea that's not what it is i don't think, i spawned in a almost completely symmetrical rescue rover for the water mod and it sunk but stayed level i think its the water mod is broke rn as others are having similar issues such as sunk ships

As for the ship being titled. I've often see this happen since the mod has changed. Most of the time I find it's the ship has too much weight on one side of the ship. You can also add weight into the cargo containers of the ship by adding ore or other inventory to help balance the ship better in the water. Since the water physics doesn't rely on tanks for flotation and relies more on displacement (or at least something like that) adding weight to the ship changes the way it floats. Hence stuff on deck effects the way it floats.

The vtol scripts don't quite do what I want them to do since they rely on your input and throttle back as soon as you let off them. I'm waiting for the next update to see if the new event controller will help me do what I want to do.

so i just loaded into my world with this carrier 2 tornados a attack chopper and a cargo truck on it and it is sideways half sunk and won't float right at all any ideas why or how to fix it

nice also there is a Vtol script that you could maybe use to make some vtols that are easier to fly as right now its hard to fly them as you are always either moving up or down by just flying with thrust override or maybe a sub grid thruster control script but they are very well done and ok to fly just tricky also the wheels on the gunship vtol and tornadoes need some adjustments to taxi as the vtols tend to flip when turning and the planes don't turn when turning and tend to cause the nose into the ground when reversing i might test some wheel settings to see what works best for taxing as rn taxing is tricky due to needing to use gyros to turn planes and to keep the vtol from fliping when turning

Though Randa doesn't have any wheels yet so may end up using both. But we'll see what happens.

I've been working on a newer more modern styled carrier that will have jets with it.

any plans to make some more carrier based planes other then the tornado maybe some jets
