It is glitchy. Bows are shooting like gunners also cannon sound. You can fix somehow cannon sound, but bows only first line is shooting others wont shoot.

This mod also affects diplomatic relations and changes the fame scale. That is, when concluding a military alliance, we get +200 and not the vanilla +100. Filling the fame scale is also very slow.
Hence the conclusion is that the mod is specially balanced for the "Expanded Japan" mod. It's a pity, I liked vanilla diplomacy where EVERYONE declared war sooner or later. In addition, the mod completely disables the fame mechanic for the vanilla game.:AngrySword:
It would be better if the influence on diplomacy were in a separate mod.

I know you likely won't see this, but could you remove the Research needed for Ashigaru, and potentially get rid of the ronin for factions that aren't the ikko ikki, like it was in vanilla? It makes the poor monk bros pretty much just a worse alternative for other clans sometimes.

Found it. Bow sam/ronan are shooting cannon sounds when they fire.

Could you remove the bushido prerequisite to unlock ashigaru? It makes no sense to keep it now that mobs are gone.

Hi, i am not sure if you will answer, but i want to remove ronnin units from all clans (not ikko ikki) as well.
In my personal opinion i just find them unnecessarily inflating army list, while making ikko ikki just worse version of normal clans with almost same units as others but just smaller.

I do not know if you feel like releasing new version of the mod, i have some small experience with modding myself, but from newer titles, so just to be sure i am doing it correctly and dont break anything nor delete it from ikko ikki, all i need to do is to go into this table:

db/units_to_groupings_military_permissions_tables/UF_units_to_groupings_military_permissions

and delete all lines that give xxx_Ronin to military group japan?

Inf_Spear_Yari_Ronin_R japan

Am i correct? or do i need to make some other changes as well?

Is this mod usable in co-op? Me and a buddy are just looking to run this with Vastator's Unit style for a co-op campaign.

Ashigaru Units at a campaign game start require the "Bushido" research from the Mastery of the Arts. I know this is because this version of the Mod does not have Mob Units. Is there a manual fix or any update comming?

Expanded Japan is very finnicky and crashes a lot when used with other mods (it's also pretty old now). Try putting it last in the load order and see if that works (there are tutorials on how to do that).

I'm afraid I can't help you out there, you'd have to contact Jaki himself about it.

I dont have the extra factions only vanilla factions. I have expanded japan and activated it because if I dont nothing changes and if I activate only vanilla factions and expanded map. what should I do?

I launched the game with only this mod enabled but I haven't encountered the problem you mentioned. Not sure what it could be, but it must be on your end.
