Hey guys, not sure where I should ask because it's not exactly related to your mod, but I've been trying to make my own race mod and was using your's as a template. For some reason the new class is visible, the units with sprites show up, but despite having a command adding hometerr to a new class, the race spawns with no citadel or city, they just stand on a plain. Any idea what to do with that? I'm asking around because you are experienced in this sort of stuff.

I was kind of thinking or hoping for union/confederate even with spec troops or just union regulars spawning camp with the marshal kinda like the explorer's guild. It'd be awesome to get ironclad ship, lol I tried taking gattling/cannon on ship but no luck. I must say though Excellent mod with great balance going toe to toe with the baron is pretty equal footing due to their more intensive armor/ large shielded troops. Thanks alot.

@Gilliland That is by design. However, I've considered removing that risk with immunities if the class feels like it needs a buff. Potatosarus and I will have to talk about it. Thanks for the feedback!

i would recommend giving the desperado resistance to charm and confusion because if it switches sides and dies you lose it forever

I can distinguish Preacher from Sheriff, but both of them are hard to tell apart from the Mayor, is all.

@Urzamax Yeah I have plans to rework the mayor/governor sprites. I haven't had trouble distinguishing the Preacher from the Sheriff so far, but I'll give that a look too.

Will do! When you come back from holiday, I think the Mayor, Preacher and Sheriff could use some touches of color to make them easier to differentiate from each other; as it stands their sprites are somewhat difficult to tell apart on the map.

@Urzamax We developed it using the same method as Spartan Kings, so it should be fully compatible with the overhaul and every other class mod that I'm aware of. I have a master list of terrain number and name uses in other mods that I use to avoid overlapping.

However, I'm on vacation for the holidays, so I can't check to be 100% certain. Let me know if you experience any unexpected behavior :)

Is this mod compatible with the Balance Overhaul like your Spartan mod, or is it meant to be entirely standalone?
