also yeah this doesnt look good the mouth texture was the best part and it was ruined
Regardless, I feel like the choices made when making this warpaint is... questionable to say the least.
The choice of base (Park Pigmented) purely for the coloured tip because the rocket launcher had one is pretty misguided, it would've been neat to make a Mk.II taking elements from all 3 of the warhawk skins, not JUST the Rocket Launcher. I'd recommend using Yeti Coated as a base instead, as it has a better placement for the sticker.
The custom wear also is rubbing me the wrong way, I don't think it's needed. Warhawk is one of those skins that look really cool in higher wears, and it didn't need custom wears. This just makes it look really goofy and only looks decent in FN.
Also not a huge fan of the RARE and WACKY soldier lion sticker either, frankly isn't needed, same with the rockets.
Overall, I feel this Mk.II wasn't very thought out and just doesn't look well-made, and is trying to be compensated with an ugly custom wear that makes the warpaint worse.
I feel you can create a better end product once more thought is put into this. Do revisit this one and see what you can do to improve it.
This looks fantastic
It wouldve been better to use the tiger sticker instead of the shark face and make the red/black stripe nub pieces the shark teeth. And then possibly add the red stripe onto the main texture instead or just remove it entirely. That would get rid of the shark face problem but not get rid of the concept entirely.
Bro you know you fucked up when the sticker clips off at the middle.
You also went out of the way to add stuff like the random red line, which I can't even see where that color and tone would come from on the original decorated weapons, seeing as it doesn't match any of them? But the most egregious factor is that you took the mouth / face of the war hawk and just slapped half of it over as a sticker on the side of a weapon. It is just cut off really noticeably, you can't not see it. It is thoroughly distracting.
Please, I know you have talent but you keep putting out war paint that is just, by your own admission, recycled textures with very little edits to them. Take more time into making your trade look good, maybe even work on an original idea instead of one that entirely recycles textures valve already has?
