Well, the tree and rock and animation mod will give you a good 10 fps (maybe) in swamps, dense forest, etc. Basically these mods remove some of the trees and rocks, but leave enough to keep it immersive. So in the big valley in the middle of skyrim, it would be the only place that you wouldnt really gain much performance. With the underwater one, you can gain 3-6 fps boost depending on grass draw distance. I mean, if you already dont have any grass, well download it in case but it won't really do much. And the particle one is very good for caves with fog dust etc. And if i remember well, it disables the fog in the morthal swamps, which are a big performance killer. So being in a dense forest, with fog, with underwater grass all at once, youll get 15 fps boost. Or else, it will give you maybe a 5-9 fps boost a bit everywhere.

Also, if you're really looking for increasing performance, you can download this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17137/? and this one http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19359/?

This makes the game really ugly, but it will give you a big 15 fps boost . So if your little brother cares about gameplay rather than immersion, download this mod. But its very intense the level of shit visuals it offers :)

And its always good to make sure that there is no other programs running in backround, so that you save some ram. Also, i suggest with all these mods installed, you start at a low resolution, see if he can get more than 30 fps, then keep going higher until it goes under 30 fps.
Hamburghini 400 GT 17 Jul, 2016 @ 1:20pm
how big of an fps boost would my little brother's 7 year old hand-me-down Dell Inspiron 1545? He doesn't care about bad graphics, so everything will probably be on low at a standard resolution. He won't care about the fps unless it gets below about 15, which is the point were "it's too glitchy". I honestly can't understand how he tolerates games with an fps below 20, but somehow he doesn't notice. Ahh... the ignorance and innocence of not knowing a thing about fps or computer specs in any way... Everything seemed to run so much smoother before I found the fps meter in the Steam options.
Can Of ForTuna 22 Jun, 2016 @ 9:06pm
lol you notice quickly if it works if you see hanging moss, floating in the air where a rock use to be... meh, thats the only downside to this.
Boon 12 Jun, 2016 @ 8:59pm
Is it best to download them all?
MEDICO 11 May, 2016 @ 4:28pm

Pre-Kardashian Kanye West 21 Mar, 2016 @ 6:53pm

You'reNotÐΣΛÐ 21 Mar, 2016 @ 2:28am
i have all 5 mods and im seeing about a good 4 fps boost which isnt much but fps is now stable rather that going from 15 then jumping to 24! ill take a solid 23 fps in outside or in towns over a jumping fps
♥Kuudere-Chan♥ 5 Mar, 2016 @ 9:44am
Thank you! For some reason the particles lag me like hell.

I've had issues with connecting Skyrim to steam as I bought a physical copy ages ago and not a digital copy, so I use the nexus for modding. However I haven't been able to find these there. Just wondering where I can get these without downloading through Steam. Thanks.
Dove_Landing02 17 Aug, 2015 @ 9:57am

I use an integrated graphics card in a cheap laptop, but I was already getting about 70-80 frames, this makes it even better!

Thargs 10 Oct, 2014 @ 8:20am
it allow to see the left hand weapon draw animation and the sword, axe, mace and dagger sheat, for the animation, you need the anbimation mod on the nexus page here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34155/?
TheOtherGuy  [author] 10 Oct, 2014 @ 6:30am
Np, ill see for the plant one. Anyways, whats duel sheat redux?
Thargs 10 Oct, 2014 @ 4:55am
helped alot actualy, I less often use command console or start menu to get my fps high enough to make some stuff work, like I use Dual Sheat Redux, and now it work by itself without needing to press start to get the left hand sheat to work, thanks alot, altho, the animation one dont seem to work for me, the plant still move like before, except that, all work fine, Great work, your my hero
TheOtherGuy  [author] 9 Oct, 2014 @ 3:52pm
reduce your settings to the lowest, if you didnt do it, and make sure your resolution is to the lowest. I hope these mods help :P
Thargs 9 Oct, 2014 @ 3:30pm
I will test it, I have big trouble with a fps of 1 to 15 max, it make everything laggy, so if it help, your my savior
TheOtherGuy  [author] 19 Sep, 2014 @ 2:10pm
Not bad, me personally i can play the game on high resolution, high textures, hd plants and trees texture, medium shadows and play around 50 indoors and 34 outdoors. Sometimes it lags a bit in forest.
