The mod makes all GeoActive trait to be ethanol... 4 times made test - 4 times all additional 4 geysers are ethanol. Can this be fix?

@Thundercraft this mod crashes with the most recent patch of ONI and isnt up to date from original source.
I requested @Chinchou to upload the up to date compiled version of EnemyArea's github here on steam as it wouldn't be trivial to get the source code and compile for yourself (you could see my request here in the comments https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2996529048 )

both mods are the same, the one I linked is the most up to date and doesnt crash

The mod link shared has been compiled for the most recent patch of ONI, whereas this mod has not been updated for it, and thus crashes on game load.

How is the mod link you advertised different from this mod?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't both this mod and the mod you advertised doing the exact same thing? Why release or advertise two fixed versions of the same mod if they are identical and if neither are sanctioned by the original mod author?

Alex, the author of this mod, would be the one that does that. Though I suppose you could set up a compiler and do it yourself as well, but it's not exactly straightforward.

EnemyArea has updated the source at the linked Github with the fix, just need a recompile against the ONI code base and an updated publish.

BTW: I was curious how realistic it would be to see an ethanol geyser or large quantities of ethanol in space. I don't know about asteroids, but on searching I did find several articles like "Alcohol clouds in space" and "Guess What? Space is Full of Booze". So, apparently, ethanol can be found in space.

It would have been nice if this mod's description either included a link to the original mod or at least copy-pasted the description from the original. Quote:

"Adds a guaranteed uncovered chilled ethanol geyser spawn to the rust biome. The chilled ethanol geyser has the same liquid output as a cool slush geyser. This mod should **not** conflict with other world gen mods even if they create a new world type or modify the rust biome slightly. It will generate the one ethanol geyser on any map that contains the rust biome."
