A simple fix, but slightly OCD inducing, but now this should fix the original mod overwriting this patch mod regardless of mod loading order.
Sorry for the troubles, but please let me know if there are other issues.
I recommend using a mod manager if you don't know what I am talking about, if you load this patch mod first, and then the original turret mod, the original turret mod will apply and this patch will be obsolete.
For those asking about multiplayer, that is out of my reach as I did not create the coding. All this mod does is just provides some of Brita's weapons for use in the turret recipe. The original turret author has stated they are not doing multiplayer compatibility.
1.Quit to desktop
2.Installed a new Zomboid mod from workshop. Read somewhere this can reset mods sometimes if they are not working. I think you can just subscribe to something and then unsubscribe. In my case I actually installed a new mod and enabled it in game, not sure if that did anything.
3. I started a new game and it worked. Hopefully you don't have to start a new game.
Good hunting people, be safe out there.
Are you using any other mods?
Have you tested without picking Engineer as a profession? Because I did not modify the profession to learn the skill. (Wasn't sure how to do it since it looked like it required lua.)
I know it works on 41.71 with any professions BUT the engineering one.
This mod is simply a text file, so the only way for it to not work is if
1.) Major base mod (Turret or Britas) change or the required mods DO NOT SUPPORT new game version
2.) User error (Check important and report section)
Check the report discussion section and see if that helps, if not then reply to the discussion accordingly.
You can simply just cheat a new magazine in, or wait for a newly spawned one.
Keep in mind, you HAVE to re-read the magazine if you are applying it mid-save.
