The broken cathode light layer problem doesn't happen for me, i think only sometimes. Also when more lore robots/void creatures/contraptions

yeah i just tried to fix that by editing the layer but it won't replace it. i will just add a text telling people to edit the layer and save it themselves, thank you for telling me

Yo, just to let you know, a lot of old contraptions are breaking because cathode lights no longer overlap bulletproof shielding blocks, so it kinda makes a lot of your creations' eyes invisible
