It's called "Clay Pigeon" because that style of wear is supposed to represent heated metal from a plane burning up due to being shot (hence the name).
If you were to check the same custom wear promo, you will find the silvery viet-era style wear you are referring to.
I'm also not concerned with team differentiation because the majority of the palette pushes towards that team colour. Also team coloured stickers or wear is not possible in-game in any capacity as of writing this. Someone would have to code (from scratch) a sourcemod implementation and then valve would have to add it to the game for that function to exist.
I kinda agree with the custom wear, it doesn't make sense to have the goldish bronze on these guns, so maybe something more silvery, like a scratched viet-era helicopter maybe?
I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say "unscratched paint", I'm confused as to what you are exactly referring to.
I don't understand why you'd dislike the antique wear (if that is the case), it's just painted metal with rust and is a lot more interesting / appealing than the normal wear the game gives to every skin.
If you JUST had the bullet holes and none of this "Antique" or "Clay Pigeon" stuff I would be fine with this, but as it stands, it's what's keeping me from giving this a yes.
:pensive:
Will fix that up when I can
