basically
a mesh is like
squares made of points
node graphs are more like
lines that npcs can walk in from point to point
like connect the dots
in a navmesh square a nextbot can walk anywhere in the square
if you make a square with ai nodes
hl2 npcs can only walk in like
the outline and an X with it's outer line tips connected to the corners of the square

for me this is just a addon not a map

for a safe area just put a new spot and it will not have neavmesh because you didnt generate any yet

so... can you make the map more bigger? or a safe area? (<--- if possible)

My favourite part of the nextbots was when the nextbots said its nextbotting time and nextbotted all over the place.

there should be a version of this thats a little bit bigger, maybe 2 elevators and a sandbox area? Think a darkroom would be nice too. This is only really good with a single nextbot. Next time make one that can work with 3 or more?

that sounds way to hard to do from my experience but i might attempt it later down the line

i honestly thing you should make a successor to this called "The mega Nextbot run" where there is portals, different colored "dimensions", 10 elevators, and more

Really glad I found this map and tried it out. Running around in all of the different areas was lots of fun! Couldn't use the cage though because more than one NEXTBOT was used...

Idk why I haven't thought of looking for maps designed to test chasing bots yet. Kinda makes me wonder if there are other maps out there that let you test other features of bots like those ones that are like the height of the whole map.
