Would love to see more work with this. more compact versions or larger batterys of missles. either way this is amazing
pimpinpope 12 Jul, 2014 @ 11:08pm
Works like a charm.

i find this proof that space engineers really is a creative persons dream come true
this is a maginificent creation, and i hope that eventually rotors and turrets get patched enough that i can field this in mutliplayer
DaMaceIAm 11 Jul, 2014 @ 9:23pm
That....is sexy.
Benkinz99 11 Jul, 2014 @ 1:20pm
So Badass. I want it for a space station!
r.m.van.dijk 10 Jul, 2014 @ 8:42am
Awesome! especially the closed hatch connecting like that!
Foehammer 10 Jul, 2014 @ 8:31am
Probably not very useful in this state but an awesome invention!
Kamaling 10 Jul, 2014 @ 7:31am
Great work!
Pep  [author] 10 Jul, 2014 @ 4:35am
Tanks! I am rebuilding it, I am making a Quad version :D
I will upload it late today.
KimChare 10 Jul, 2014 @ 4:27am
Great!!:summersun:
JimmyBeans 10 Jul, 2014 @ 4:20am

Nice system :D
Alonzo Fat Coq 9 Jul, 2014 @ 11:21pm
Pretty Cool XD

Brother Amadeus 9 Jul, 2014 @ 10:45pm
This is great work. It is a testament to what can be achieved with the tools we have so far and a good functional retractable missile system. 10/10 on appearance. Its efficiency would leave something to be desired in survival however. It would be resource hungry and is a bit convoluted to be practical. Still is is good work keep it up!
Ragna 9 Jul, 2014 @ 9:15pm
wow super cool
Pep  [author] 9 Jul, 2014 @ 5:24pm
@Daniel Tosh sorry, i forgot to mention it
push reverse button on "TURRET reverse to operate" at control pannel
Jenmare 9 Jul, 2014 @ 5:20pm
Nice job. I love the quality of this. Mind giving me some lessons? I am planning to create a new ship and include a technology like that in it. Would REALLY apreciate your help in it XD Thanks anyways and nice job!
Mercaholic75 9 Jul, 2014 @ 5:08pm
This is stupid it doesnt even have a switch to turn it on or am i just stupid somebody please help!
Mercaholic75 9 Jul, 2014 @ 5:02pm
How do i turn it on?
Weak1ings 9 Jul, 2014 @ 7:52am
I didn't see it but now that I have I can see some uneeded work on my part. The link I have uses similar tech but isn't the best. In my testing I forgot to see how it did while moving and I assume it will do similaly to mine (not move)

So, I took this concept to a next level, the outcome is a man-operated turret with 4 large rocket launchers that refills when retracted ^^

Epic
Pep  [author] 8 Jul, 2014 @ 11:50pm
@Weak1ings Good! :D I will check it out tonight
Weak1ings 8 Jul, 2014 @ 5:52pm
Thanks for the inspiration for a low profile high reach elevator! This also contains a modularity part so you can easily put it inside your OWN ships!

nice
Wumbologist 8 Jul, 2014 @ 1:49pm
just needs more gun
PCMASTERRACE 8 Jul, 2014 @ 9:05am
Now we just need satelites with radar so we have time to open all the hatches before the enemy strike.
Captain X (PhoenixX) 8 Jul, 2014 @ 9:00am
Brilliant
Pep  [author] 8 Jul, 2014 @ 8:57am
@Commander Shepard Yeah! I was thinking about that!
Shepard (KeGGeR) 8 Jul, 2014 @ 8:48am
hmm, this could also be useful for manned turrets. Allow people to get into the turret from inside the ship, instead of having to do an EVA in the middle of battle.
Pep  [author] 8 Jul, 2014 @ 8:43am
@Imperator_Park I am totally agree. I am going to test it at higher speed and I tell you what.
Sgt.Apples 8 Jul, 2014 @ 8:42am
Show this to Last Stand Gamers!
Payday_Park 8 Jul, 2014 @ 7:56am
The only real issue I can think of for this is the speed at which it deploys, other than that it's extremely well done and is a highly effective armored turret.
Terr0rSchnitzel 8 Jul, 2014 @ 5:17am
very very nice ! looks awsome !
Gordon Freeman 8 Jul, 2014 @ 4:59am
you're a genius! :greenteam:
REV IT UP 8 Jul, 2014 @ 1:30am
The only issue I can think up is size? Unless you were to put multiple missle\gatling turrets underneath one door?
REV IT UP 8 Jul, 2014 @ 1:28am
That's pretty amazing. I'd really love to learn how to make things like that.
Weak1ings 7 Jul, 2014 @ 8:54pm
And thanks btw for mentioning my comment!
Weak1ings 7 Jul, 2014 @ 8:53pm
Could you make a video or a "How it's Made?" I am trying to make a similar setup thanks to the durability and compactness that I need to get proficient at making so I can load a carrier with a elevator. I would LOVE to see huge and small versions.
na73 7 Jul, 2014 @ 6:36pm
Plus. on a larger scale, could be used to shield a larger gun, say a large manned turret or a gravity gun.
na73 7 Jul, 2014 @ 6:35pm
Good stuff right here... This is what space engineers is about! :D
I can already see a bunch of these buried hidden in an asteroid....
HWS 7 Jul, 2014 @ 6:17pm
it's really awesome
