Yea, stuff with attached objects don't like it. I might see about fixing them.

If you move a Tribolectric Scrubber, the post moves but the ball on top stays floating in the original location. Not a big problem for me, just something I happened to notice.

ok while the mods nice thats not really what i meant, i mean like when moving a object around, if we could rotate it after or during the process, probably not possible tho because of the way it moves it, all good :)

i didnt realize that was a thing, neat thanks

That would be my Rotate All Buildings mod

Thanks for the mod! Nice and easy to use.

You can move everything around now.

Though honestly for buildings It'd be better to just salvage and rebuild.

Thanks I'll take a look... they must not attach the top bits to the panels (like other stuff)

Also (large) solar panels leave their top bits behind. Looks really strange, but doesn't seem to hinder gameplay

The issue with footprints of buildings that have been moved blocking construction seems fixed. Sadly, I can no longer move points of interest despite the button still being there

Probably have time on weekend to fix it.

I admit I moved all the anomalies from one half of the map to the other for a laugh and so I didn't have to build a ramp for the RC explorer. :D

It is a cheat after all :)

I mainly made for moving buggy stuff around, but I certainly wouldn't stop people from cheesing...

Had a log for you but you've obviously replicated it yourself now. Something else I noticed when experimenting with moving a landing pad and getting the same blocking objects problem: if I click on where the pad used to be it still selects the pad in its new location. Deleting the pad in its new location removes the blocking objects message in the original location and allows building there again. I don't know if that helps at all but I thought I'd let you know anyway. I also noticed that you can move resource deposits and anomalies. Don't know if that was intentional but handy for moving deposits in range of your extractors instead of extending the colony. ;-)

I can do it too, guess it needs some more work...

Sorry for the slow reply, ChoGGi. Been flattened by Covid and haven't had the energy to turn the computer on. The buildings were some research labs and some hydroponic farms, which I wanted to exchange places between two domes via some unused space in a third dome so I could have a science dome and a food production dome. This mostly worked but I was left with 2-3 unusable 6 hex triangles in those domes where I'd intended to put one of the moved buildings. It was purely for aesthetic purposes and I was playing in challenge mode so it wasn't a colony I was going to keep anyway. Unfortunately that means I don't have a log to offer you. Everyone in the house in isolating this week so I'll start a new game just to try and replicate the issue and let you know.

Thanks again for all your mod work.

Which buildings and are they connected to other buildings somehow?
A log of when you moved it, and you trying to place something down would help as well.

It's a great idea and works as intended most of the time, although it's easy to put the building down in the wrong spot the first few times. But I'm finding that sometimes after you pick a building up and move it the place where it had been can't be built on and you get the blocking objects message as if it's still there. I've clicked around to see if there was a ghost building there that might be deletable but no luck, and I seemed unable to put the original structure back either. I have a feeling I did something it didn't like.
