Any possibility to make this tribal too ? as I can grow it but unable to process it into a pill

good points but trust me when i say 15 percent is still quite a bit of offset for it. however i would not mind having say a refined version that might take neutroamine or some other mix of drugs to make it stronger
BattIeBear  [author] 9 Jul, 2023 @ 5:28pm
I'll look into it, maybe add a refined and unrefined version? Refined requiring an extra step? The thing is that the required darkness and power draw of the hydroponics are the "balancers" I'm concerned with, and I'm fairly certain the mold decays fairly quickly prior to being turned into a pill. Plus, I want it to be an effective treatment to both save lives in desperate situations, but also get pawns that will recover anyway back on their feet quicker. I'll add it to the list of "when life chills out and I can mod again!"

just a teency balancing suggestion but maybe the +20% immunity speed should be just a teency bit lowered to around 15 or even ten just due to how fast you can get this stuff really love this type of mod btw theres not enough medical drug mods on here
BattIeBear  [author] 6 Jul, 2023 @ 6:47pm
Good question! It is +20%. Nothing game breaking, but it should absolutely save some lives
Oddbase 6 Jul, 2023 @ 6:13pm
how much does this boost immunity gain speed?
Tardo The Ass-Monkey 27 Jun, 2023 @ 2:06pm
That's fine. I usually have a room for growing mushrooms anyway, so I can just chuck them in there.
BattIeBear  [author] 27 Jun, 2023 @ 2:00pm
Glad to hear it! Keep in mind that it needs to be grown in darkness!

Oh, that's awesome. I've always been annoyed by the way penoxycyline functions in game. Like, we don't take antibiotics every week to help prevent infections. We get sick, then go take antibiotics to help beat the infections.

All that to say, thanks. This sounds perfectly like what I've been searching for, and it will likely never leave my modlist again.
BattIeBear  [author] 27 Jun, 2023 @ 1:39pm
You will need to administer it like any other drug, but this does work like an actual antibiotic. Specifically, it works by increasing a Pawn's "Immunity Gain" stat, which should help in those life-or-death scenarios or counteract poor tending.
Tardo The Ass-Monkey 27 Jun, 2023 @ 1:18pm
So, does this work like an actual antibiotic would, rather than the weird preventative medicine that is penoxycyline? And if it does, will pawns automatically take it when sick, or do I need to manually administer it?

Updated for 1.4! Let me know of any issues as I'm not currently doing an undergrounders playthrough.
SounLee 22 Oct, 2022 @ 7:45am
can someone confirm if this awesome mod still works in 1.4?
TheCarrierPrimoris 5 Jun, 2022 @ 11:40am
I think it works. It does sound very pharmaceutical. You're totally right about the other names, too.
BattIeBear  [author] 5 Jun, 2022 @ 9:32am
@TheCarrierPrimoris Lol, hilarious! That thought had crossed my mind while creating the mod too, but the other options I though of were "biocillin" (too generic) or "medicillin" (too close to medicine to be discerned at a glance). I'm hoping the combo of "antibiotic" and "penicillin" is at least clear enough to avoid any confusion!
TheCarrierPrimoris 30 May, 2022 @ 7:03pm
Wait...ANTIcillin? Wouldn't that just cause infections?! Bear, is this just a trick to get pirates and tribals to rub dirt into their wounds?

Appreciating the diversity in underground crops. Good work, BattleBear.

I've updated all of my mods so that it only lists DLCs required for it to function properly.
BattIeBear  [author] 28 May, 2022 @ 7:28pm
Technically it does not require either DLC as far as I'm aware, but as I have both I can only provide support for base game + both DLCs. Some of my other Undergrounders mods require aspects of either DLC, but this one should be safe in just vanilla.
Alexis Popcorn 28 May, 2022 @ 5:29pm
why does it require both DLCs?
