I feel sorry for the dwelling units as they are unable to enjoy the blessings of the Mystical City Upgrades to the point that they become obsolete to the city-built units.

I think that you actually started using another mod which overwrite what this mod is doing Kerovanka, that sounds like the most likely thing which happened to you.

Sorry to be a pest but I'm having some issues running the mod after making some edits in Title.rpk, just to pump up the AI cheat bonus so my balance mod works properly. I can see your content in the TOW, but they don't show in city build menus anymore.

Is there any way to make my Title edits compatible with your mod? I tried messing with the priority but no luck there.

@Ayalin- Oh goody. Haven't progressed to a point where I can thoroughly test the new buildings. Started a new map with some questionable level-gen refinements. Should be quite the adventure.

oww yeah regarding the resist on Frost altar it's definitely a small mistake if that's the case. Will have a quick look, it's a 1 min fix :)

@Ayalin- Thanks for getting back to me. I mistakenly thought the shrine itself was inherent to your mod, it's that rare for me. I think it's just the RMG spazzing out. I even checked the values in Levelgenerator and all appeared normal.

Good to know the AI can use them. I chose not to enable it until this was clarified. If anything I need to make the AI more competitive, so this suits me fine.

Regards the mana structure upgrades, I noticed in the showcase there are duplicate resistance bonuses that appear thematically inconsistent. Might have been updated since then but I imagined Water Altar would be Frost resist, not Blight. I guess I will find out soon enough lol.

are you sure its not a mod causing the level generator issue? I don't think I ever had a problem like this before.
Btw yes AI will make full use of them, although most of them are tagged as 'low priority' structures.

Well scrap that part about the Earthen Mother shrines. Apparently there is an existing problem in the level-gen. Game either spawn none of them or spews massive clusters. Out of 40 maps I've only seen them appear 3 times. But when it rains, it pours.

Looks pretty sweet. Just wanted to know if the AI can make full use of these new building options?

Also, not sure how relevant this is, but after generating about 15 XL dual layer maps only two had some structures from this mod. The two in question had the mod structures clumped together- 4 or 5 Earthen Mother shrines in a 8 tile radius and nothing for the rest of the map.

Seems their might be some kind of hiccup with the levelgenerator values on these structures.

After playing age of wonders 4 on release I went back and bought 3 and after finding your mods I actually have even more fun with 3 right now.

You've done amazing work for this game, if you end up making mods for 4 I'll happily play them all.

I mean I have done 4 or 5 streaming sessions but their replay get deleted after one week :( a bit discouraging. I need to get a cam / and maybe get the twitch premium sub so that my replays will not get deleted

and this mod even without last resort didn't feels like its unfinished at all so I just wanted to put my 2 cents of thoughts.

Yeah it requires a bit of thinking. You want it earlier, but maybe it should not be correlated anymore to the different building chain then. I believe planetfall does something very similar actually.
Regarding the tiers VII, to be fair yeah I still have that in my boxes, along with a lot of other things. One day I wake up and I am like "let's do it, I want to do it now". Short term I will be releasing a new tribe for the Tribe mod, and then I will play Aow 4 a bit and see how I feel about it. If I still want to come back a lot to Aow III, you can be sure I will continue modding it as well.

Well, now you could take inspiration from devs :D but then there's gonna be hole between this economic chain. Also question: are you still gonna do the last Tier VII of it?

Or maybe do sth like you've done with spells and low prio reaserch upgrades so while clearing the node (or sth else) you get those early steps faster as reward.

Yeah I quite agree. When I research it, it's generally a bit late for myself too, it generally feels like "a few more things to build, why not after all".
The concept is good indeed, but they come too late and are expansive to research. I will do something about it.

Hmm..to think about it, when I play with those I barely use Sypremacy Economic..mostly get to religious for shrine bonuses, well thats probably cuz I play from small to medium maps. It depends also if I go for shadow realm or not. But to reserch those for me its kinda late and impact on units is also not so great since I'm already having T3&4 units comming into play. And secondly its hard to justify 500+ knowledge going into economy while there is so many other things to reserch like class units for example.
On the other hand supremacy actually make your city more specialized in specific direction which is great, its just too bad I can't reach them but like I said its my preference of playing the game.

Thats for sure. The difference is in your mod it has to be reaserched in aow4 not but also your bonuses are still better when you compare the two and again less work overall if you ever wanna change sth or add in aow4 :steammocking:

Hello Cicero; I think this one in particular is highly compatible with the rest; all it does is adding new city upgrades through MCU or other conditions, but ultimately it's just new content being attached to vanilla assets, so I feel comfortable telling you to go ahead. Don't hesitate to mention to me anything suspicious though !:)

Does this work together with the other big Empire mod or do tbey mess with the same things?

I am playing with Chivalrous and the Empire mod, and would to try adding this one (but if its known that it breaks, I'd probably try a game with your full list and without the kthers).

Hey vampire, thank you for your nice words again- but same thing, could you maybe simply consider finding an agreement with your friends that you do not use combined spec? Imagine that this game is like some kind of rpg game where you get to decide the rules you want to apply. As long as everyone agree to not use combined spec it's all good isnt it?

Ayalin me and a group of freinds run this mod and 1 other of yours I comented on just to day. also wanted to give a shout out this mod I like a hell of a lot I running a game where I have 5200 gold gonig to upkeep. yet win the Ai takes 1 or 2 of my citys then I am losing 1,000 gold a trun this mod is game breaking but just like blood magic it has a big back fire if I build in all my citys also I lose 1500 gold a trun. with to me makes this mod balnced. the blood god summon is game breaking but then I play it with my liveing orc race then my orcs all get crused I love that shit. there game breaking with a big back fire.. with this mod or blood magic I haveing nothing to add Great job on your work Ayalin :) if u have a chance to repost a older version of your mod Ayalin Premium Specialisation Mod me and a group of my freinds would also be thankfull :)

Yes- I have been slowing down a bit recently but I am progressively back to it and I am finishing the hero rework for Theocrat.
I still have a lot of ideas from there- new spec for the premium specialisation, a pretty big Wonder update for this one, why not trying myself on the Dark elf template provided by the dev, and finally a pretty big rework of all adventure set & wave encountered in treasure sites.

So little update!
I have not crashed once (well, once but that was not like constant at the same point even after reloading a save) so it seems like that and/or reinstalling etc. worked!

Hm I don't think these ones are coming from my mods. It seems there are some structures / places without environment setup so you want to investigate mods which add to the game new structure to explore or new environment layers.

It's fixed Dyna1One :) I believe you can update safely even you have a game running. The icon was indeed missing on the unit prop given by Sacred vault.

Hmm ok that sounds pretty straightforward- there might be a missing icon somewhere (on the unit prop given by sacred vault apparently if I understand the msg properly). I will check that right now, it's potentially a very quick fix if that's the issue.

Hi there!
I absolutely love your mods, however I've been getting quite a few crashes today, all of them have one thing in common..

I'm not really familair with the game's logs etc. but just in those 4 minutes, it's spammed
"[ERROR]Unit Property Sacred Vault upkeep modifier has no Icon!" 112 times..

Now, I'm not exactly sure if this is really why it's been crashing- I'm going to do some further testing without this mod, I hope not because your mods are my favorite!

Ok, I've found it in their changelog. Normal mana nodes have names like MANA_NODE, while shadow realm mana nodes have names like MANA_NODE_SR. So it's just a _SR addition to vanilla names.

yes, that's the issue without a doubt. I guess nodes in the shadow realm have some kind of special effect therefore they were duplicated and their bonuses were changed?
If you can give me the exact spelling for all nodes I can fairly easily correct it on my side and update the mod.
