I'm not actively working on the mod, and there are no HE shells. The ammunition exploding is due to the propellant igniting, not the warhead.

there's nothing for ricochets specifically, so no not really. they're already based on the ingame 120mm also.

Is it possible to add either cannons that's projectiles explode on impact with a strength equal to their caliber, or an option to enable explosive rounds on a cannon?

you need to disable hitboxes of some objects when creating things, or connect them together (or use phase links), nothing i can do to help your lack of game knowledge.

hi ive just made a m1 abrams all on pasu i unpause the game and my tank went flying i found that the proplem was the hit boxes

ok so we're BOTH wrong, the ingame cannon says it's an KwK 43, which is wrong, it's a Kwk 40. Even then, it's very obviously way too short to be the gun used on the Panthers.

the 75mm in the mod is an L/48, as the name says. The panther used an L/70.

The penetration values of the guns are way too low.
Long 75 (panther) game pen - 125mm
Long 75 pen - up to 190mm

i mean, yeah. you need to make them weightless. The physics engines starts acting wonky when heavy objects are attached to other objects.

The guns are too heavy, it is impossible to choose a mechanism for them that can allow them to direct and at the same time hold in the desired position :( The resistor is too weak and cannot hold the guns, and the rotor and servo are also very heavy

Just stay lazy saying "If you want to give useful feedback don't be an ass" when you can't even make it happen in the first place. You're just a type of person who expects everyone to clap at you when you lack of skills to deserve some.
Great for you. Now since you are not listening to me, you never need to make explosive shots not because of laziness and skill issue, but have the perfect excuse that i was being a douche bag.

Keep up the current work though. I actually like your mods in sense of penetrating.

i'm more so frustrated that you insist on giving negative feedback than simply suggesting making the changes you want. Not only am i significantly less likely to actually listen to you, but you just come off as a douche. As i already said in the suggestion discussion, I've tried adding different types of ammuniition, however it's a tremendous amount of work.

i also ave no idea why you're putting cannons in quotation marks

Aight if the ammo is just for decoration and nothing else, i'll take it.
If I have to completely assume shots are full penetrating just because you didn't say your "cannons" ever explode, i'll take it.
I do like your mod in sense of non explosive penetrating shells. I am just expressing sadness that you lack of abilities to make a mod with exploding shots while there are so many cannon variants you have made in your mod. You just seem angry that someone is disappointed about shots
not exploding. It's just a negative feedback that anyone can leave. What's the point of "useful" feedback if you just say I can't do it because it takes too long? I don't see how that would be my fault.

I never said the cannons fired high explosive, so i dont know why you're throwing a fuss over it. You can also read my comment in the suggestion discussion for why they currently dont.

Also how is the description meant to be related to non-explosive shots. It does mention about penetration, so are you saying just because you didn't mention a single thing about explosions, i just have to assume that your "cannons" are all meant to be armour-piercing shells without a single explosion?

Then why did you even make explosive ammunition separately if you are not going to actually use them?
If it was mentioned non-explosive ammunition and cannons I wouldn't even say a word in the first place.
I do know to be called a cannon, when the Cal. goes over a certain measure, it is called a cannon not a gun, and even if the shell doesn't explode, it still is called a cannon.
I have to admit that I was being stupidly stubborn about the tank cannon part, so I will delete it.
But I don't see what is so wrong with placing a personal review about being disappointed with not having explosion features.
It is not my fault that you lack of abilities to make a mod with exploding shots. I don't see what feedback is so useful if you can't even reflect it.

I'm surprised that none of these canons actually fire a explosive shot. They are just stronger variants of 120mm cannon. It even has explosive cannon shells itself in the mod, but non of the cannons actually fire them. That is a sheer disappointment.

anything between 15~25mm cannot be copied or saved in a contraption.
