I think these would be striking on the engineer and would be something I'd love to have in the game. I'd suggest redoing this from the start and thinking about general practicality when it comes to items like this. Keep up the workflow, as I am looking forward to see what you put out next.
However, it is well modeled, and I think your talent shows in making this. The end result of that talent may not be something people want, however.
