Maybe because the Ancients are not updated to 1.6? :) (and it won't be, they are planning to refresh the mod, like they did with Medieval and Insects)

No longer works for me in 1.6, which unfortunately makes sense given how it hasn't been updated since 1.4. I think it was just pure luck that this worked in 1.5.

Youre right about this but he is also kinda right, you will get raids dropped on your behind that will demolish you in no time with all the wealth from Vault S that can't defend itself. Its not only the 5 people restriction with the Storyteller. I doubt in most cases you will even get that far. You can use another storyteller obviously.

What @Adversary was asking for something between Vault H and S as if in Vault H is kinda to small and S kinda to big. In addition to the fact that Vault LR and S have both not the theme of beeing a little bit roughed up instead beeing clean as no deterioration happend whatsoever. Aside from the powerconduits maybe.

All in all for me this mod here was always looks great would be cool, but kinda impractical.

Vault S (the second one of these) is a Scaled UP version of the Basemods "Vault H" so you already have a scaled down version in the Basemod.

Great idea and execution! VFE Ancients is my favorite scenario and I edited my vault with debugmode.
All that said, I'm afraid I will not use it because its just way too big. The scenario wants you to keep a maximum of 5 pawns and I like that. So 5 pawns in a giant vault is way too much. If you could add another verson of these vaulds scaled somewhere in between your vaults and the default vaults, that would be perfect.

Vault S is my absolute favorite man. having the ability to feed 2 entries into the same securityroom is grand. the right one goes to my outside area, the left one is the entryway for visitors and zombies. if all things fail, i push a button, both doors close and the flame turrets heat the room to 100°C. i never felt so secure.

@Seos I know. I literally added them to your mod folder and files :/. I think at some point I even replaced an existing vault with mine, but it didn't work. Is there perhaps an upper limit for structure size?

Back when I first built it I actually wanted to make a scenario where you have to stop a (rimatomics) reactor meltdown to save your vault, leaving it without energy afterwards...

The reactor cooling takes up a lot of space, so I thought that might be the issue, but it doesn't even seem to work with a normal 5x5 brick structure lol.

Gotta ask... How did you actually manage to make your Vaults appear ingame?
I exported mine, and couldn't get them into the game. At some point I even tried adding it to your mod, but it won't appear either.

@Seos That doesn't really matter. It's an issue affecting the use of the mod. As I said, it would've been nice to know that beforehand and not waste half an hour troubleshooting. Whether it's vanilla Rimworld's fault or whatever, you can save a bunch of people the headache by giving them a head's up. There is no reason why people should step into a known pitfall because it wasn't documented.

Also had the same issue as Doctor Talos and the others. Using a custom saved scenario, the vault spawned fully revealed and with no colonist. This didn't happen prior to installing this mod. Starting with the standard new vault scenario or modifying it without saving it will not cause this issue. If you're unable to fix this, please add it to the mod description as a known issue. That would've saved me a bunch of time. Very nice looking vaults otherwise, thanks.

Ok... After a bit of thinking here is my guess: You draw it as something else, and then change it to the walls in the code.

May I ask how you manage making those? I'm trying to generate a dubs Hygene and rimatomic friendly one for my next playthrough and the only way I seem to find is placinng (and delting if I screw up) the everything with "place thing" and "destroy" it's really starting to drive me crazy :/

I literally have to click-gen every single tile where I want a wall :(

Copy these two files to a folder along the path:
steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2815652956\1.4\Defs\CustomGenDefs

Next, you need to remove all vaults from the scenario and add VFEA_A_SealedVaultS_C or VFEA_A_SealedVaultLR_C

I think you will understand.
