It's the same.
In the 1930s there used to be a small diesel railbus called litra ME, which sometimes is referred to as ME I.
In the 1980s a new diesel locomotive was built, and the ME name came to use again. This is sometimes called ME II to tell the difference from the older ones, but in most cases only called litra ME.

I had the ME II on my to do list for this train. Can you tell me if there is any difference between the ME and ME II, or is that the same loc? Different specs maybe?
