Report a translation problem
It should give the same portrait changes as having beauty traits. If your character already has a beauty trait of the same level or higher than the makeup their portrait will be unchanged, although they'll still benefit from higher attraction opinion and fertility. Character gender doesn't make a difference.
If no portrait changes occur on characters without any of the normal beauty/ugliness traits when they have makeup traits then yeah I'll need to do a lil tweaking. In the meantime before I check and, if any fixes are needed, do a lil fixing I'm afraid it's imagination time.
Yeah, but it's kinda stupid that the game does it with makeup since it's supposed to be congenital.
