Thanks so much for your time and effort to make this useful mod.
Please change your supported version to the following -
supported_version="v4.0.*"
Now with this line, your mod will show up-to-date whenever Paradox releases update fixes.

@Bread™

Yes, I can guarantee it will work with all versions after 3.4.4, not sure about versions older than that since I made this mod when 3.4.4 came out
Bread™ 11 May @ 5:20pm
will this work if I roll back to older versions of the game for some older mods?
Thank you kindly

Appreciate it, thanks!
Michael Zaki  [author] 21 Mar @ 6:41am
@GE0 say no more fam.

I've forced a refresh to the mod version to try to fix the warning, but this mod should still be working fine even if the launcher says it is outdated.
GE0 20 Mar @ 6:35am
When you have some time, could you update the version number again? Stellaris is saying it's outdated, which is odd since I've seen mods from back in October that it's fine with.

:steamhappy:Would be balanced if citadels will decrease combat width
zaramo 16 Dec, 2024 @ 12:00am

@Michael Zaki
I have been using your mod for some time now and to let you know it still works perfect. i have had no issues using it.
Michael Zaki  [author] 15 Dec, 2024 @ 8:22pm
@SanctifiedLiberty

This should still work, and I've also updated the version number so it doesn't show a warning in the mod launcher. But let me know if this mod doesn't work anymore as I don't play Stellaris nowadays :steamthumbsup:
SanctifiedLiberty 15 Dec, 2024 @ 9:32am
Does the mod still work in 3.14?
CheckersNotChess 15 Apr, 2024 @ 4:36pm
Had the same thinking on width and this works as described modded 3.11.3, thanks.
Michael Zaki  [author] 12 Mar, 2024 @ 7:04pm

I also updated the mod version to prevent further confusion

@BlackLight yes should be savegame compatible

@mellow117clark it's not ironman compatible, so achievements are disabled
mellow117clark 5 Jul, 2023 @ 10:46pm
area achievements still enabled with this mod?
BlackLight 23 Jun, 2023 @ 5:02am
@totoyman

Is this save compatible? Can I load this in my mod load order and still load my previous saves?
Michael Zaki  [author] 13 May, 2023 @ 4:27am

Michael Zaki  [author] 2 Oct, 2022 @ 9:18pm
@Snirby

It should still work since I only changed the version number, but if it still bothers you try unsubscribing and then subscribing again to refresh the mod contents.
Snirby 2 Oct, 2022 @ 6:10pm
in my pc it is in a red triangle
Ciaphas Cain 2 Oct, 2022 @ 10:42am
Thanks! I've read that quite a few people were having problems with their mods so just wanted to ask before breaking my game haha
Michael Zaki  [author] 1 Oct, 2022 @ 10:28pm
@Lunatic Pandora

Yes it still works.
Ciaphas Cain 1 Oct, 2022 @ 6:17pm
Hi, any idea if this will still work? Never used before....
Michael Zaki  [author] 15 Jun, 2022 @ 11:31pm
@:meatm:

It should be compatible
Qymm 15 Jun, 2022 @ 10:12am
Is this compatible with Invasion! (3.4)?
Cephalon Sithalo 12 Jun, 2022 @ 11:14am
Someone on the modding discord told me that doing it by pop jobs is a bad idea because it can cause an overflow and crash the game. I had a planet with 1k+ soldiers before and the game didnt crash but that was just 1 planet while testing stuff.

In my mod, I've set the stronghold and fortress to provide 0.01 and 0.02 soldier jobs per pop when Martial Law is declared.

Thats one job for every 50-100 pops iirc. But if you have a world filled with 10 strongholds or fortresses it becomes many more soldier jobs.
Michael Zaki  [author] 12 Jun, 2022 @ 3:44am
Hmm I will look into adding more defense armies based on the suggestions made, and maybe release it as a separate mod
恶龙维尔 11 Jun, 2022 @ 7:45pm
@totoyman
if you want to add defense army , how about add a modifier based on the pop numbers on the planet e.g. 5 pops +1 soldier job, this could avoid most incompatibilities
vandiris 11 Jun, 2022 @ 6:35pm
Chim-Chim Zaha-Ni makes me think of Sim Sim Salabim
Cephalon Sithalo 11 Jun, 2022 @ 12:00pm
@totoyman, If the mod adds in jobs then editing the vanilla file wouldnt cause an issue unless they added in jobs by overwriting the job file which would be a mistake on their part.

But if it was a major rework mod that edited job files then ya that would be an issue but not many mods attempt that.

I think you would be safe either way, you could also create a secondary mod for this that changes the vanilla job file to what you would prefer it be. Then you dont gotta worry about incompatibilities with the main mod at least :LotusFlower:
DerMajor 10 Jun, 2022 @ 10:38am
Garrisons are a joke too in Stellaris.
Michael Zaki  [author] 9 Jun, 2022 @ 8:26pm
@Yosheyyy

Yeah I was also thinking of balancing the number of defense armies spawned via editing the pop jobs but it would most likely introduce more incompatibilities if you are using mods that add/edit pop jobs (which a lot of popular mods do).

If you want to make this change yourself you would have to add or edit the pop_defense_armies_add line in the pop job text files in /Stellaris/common/pop_jobs/
Yosheyyy 9 Jun, 2022 @ 11:52am
I mean, this means that garrisons should probably provide a couple more armies than they currently do though, as a Garrison tasked with defending an entire planet should be expected to have the capabilities of doing so
001 9 Jun, 2022 @ 6:06am
nice work!!!
i like it !!!:steamthumbsup:
Michael Zaki  [author] 9 Jun, 2022 @ 1:57am
