Thanks for the heads up 👍 I updated it now.
Please change your supported version to the following -
supported_version="v4.0.*"
Now with this line, your mod will show up-to-date whenever Paradox releases update fixes.
Yes, I can guarantee it will work with all versions after 3.4.4, not sure about versions older than that since I made this mod when 3.4.4 came out
Done.
I've forced a refresh to the mod version to try to fix the warning, but this mod should still be working fine even if the launcher says it is outdated.
I have been using your mod for some time now and to let you know it still works perfect. i have had no issues using it.
This should still work, and I've also updated the version number so it doesn't show a warning in the mod launcher. But let me know if this mod doesn't work anymore as I don't play Stellaris nowadays
Yes it still works 💪
I also updated the mod version to prevent further confusion
Gotchu fam. Updated to 3.10.*
@mellow117clark it's not ironman compatible, so achievements are disabled
Is this save compatible? Can I load this in my mod load order and still load my previous saves?
Say no more fam. Updated to 3.8.*
Just following the trend ~
Updated to 3.7.*, thanks for the heads up
Updated to 3.6.*
It should still work since I only changed the version number, but if it still bothers you try unsubscribing and then subscribing again to refresh the mod contents.
Yes it still works.
It should be compatible
In my mod, I've set the stronghold and fortress to provide 0.01 and 0.02 soldier jobs per pop when Martial Law is declared.
Thats one job for every 50-100 pops iirc. But if you have a world filled with 10 strongholds or fortresses it becomes many more soldier jobs.
if you want to add defense army , how about add a modifier based on the pop numbers on the planet e.g. 5 pops +1 soldier job, this could avoid most incompatibilities
But if it was a major rework mod that edited job files then ya that would be an issue but not many mods attempt that.
I think you would be safe either way, you could also create a secondary mod for this that changes the vanilla job file to what you would prefer it be. Then you dont gotta worry about incompatibilities with the main mod at least
Yeah I was also thinking of balancing the number of defense armies spawned via editing the pop jobs but it would most likely introduce more incompatibilities if you are using mods that add/edit pop jobs (which a lot of popular mods do).
If you want to make this change yourself you would have to add or edit the pop_defense_armies_add line in the pop job text files in /Stellaris/common/pop_jobs/
i like it !!!
