Id like it to appear on the right corner instead of the left
After some adjustments, I have completely reset the tML profile, and the mod is now functioning as expected. It is likely that something became corrupted during the last update, which also caused the settings file to not save updates properly.
I can click and take these out of the crafting window an infinite amount.
I cannot replicate these issues on my end. see if your friends experience this issue as well
The earlier issues are all sorted out now!
But now, middle-click isn’t opening the ingredients window
- unless I’m actually crafting the item,
- or if I click on the crafting item while holding another item (with "craft to hand" checked),
- or when I’m filtering for an item and I don’t have enough ingredients to craft it (which is pretty obvious).
I thought it might be because I had MMB bound to grapple, but the problem still pops up even after I changed the binding.
I also ran into a little settings glitch: after the update, the position settings wouldn’t save, no matter if I tried it from the mods menu or in-game. The settings file was totally empty, just had the basic JSON brackets. I deleted the old settings file, and the new one is working great now!
I’m happily using the mod again; the recipe issue is manageable, but it would be nice to see that fixed too!
To answer your question, no, I don't have any modifiers for the smart cursor. The mod wworks the same way in a clean environment with no other mods on, just using the default Terraria settings.
1) Regardless of the settings, an ingredient window opens with every individual crafting action. This increases the load on processing memory, leading to significant lag until all the windows are closed. I have a fairly powerful machine, and it's uncommon for it to become overloaded.
2) The hotkey does not close the additional windows, and closing the inventory does not dismiss them either. They must be manually closed after each craft or several times during the crafting session, depending on the number of items being crafted.
This behavior persists even with this mod as the only one enabled.
I appreciate the mod and have attempted to continue using it despite these challenges. However, upon reflection, I feel that the drawbacks outweigh the benefits, so I have decided to disable it for now. I hope you can address these issues soon.
- It acts as if all crafting stations are available, so I can craft wherever I go
- It also won't let me craft certain items at all, notably hellstone bars.
When the original crafting interface is turned on, things with it behave as expected.
