@squirrelarmyuk -- LSM is reporting:

Assets that are missing

Note: this section might be incomplete because some assets are not reported.
There are two reasons for an asset to appear in this section: (1) The asset is placed in the city but is missing (2) The asset is used by some other asset but is missing.

Sorry for the late reply, only just come back from the festival.

I tried updating the bin props as they weren't showing up for someone and it seems to have messed with the asset pack. I'm going to re upload all the assets individually this week and create some new assets based on what I saw there.

I am having a similar issue to @bucketbrain The gates have sudden gone missing from my game today, and they dont appear in find it or content manager. Same situation happening where steam says I am still subscribed. Hopefulyl it can be fixed soon?
BucketBrain 15 Jun, 2022 @ 7:24am
The large outdoor bar is removed from my city and not to find via Find lt or in content manager , but if l go to the workshop page it shows l´m still subscribed .
So l unsubscribed , waited a time resubscribed , verified game files and started again . Same result , only the path of the pack shows up

@chromeman I uploaded the bin props with the collection. I'll have to investigate why they aren't showing up.

I may have to upload them as separate prop files and redo the path asset. Will update shortly.

another benefit to prop fences over network fences is if you want to make gaps in the fence after you've placed it, you can break the individual fence props to make gaps whereas with a network you have to break a whole segment and replace it, leaving the gap you want out.
tramter 10 Jun, 2022 @ 9:24am
for the superfence, you can make teraforming props which adjust like a network was to different gradients, and then using the prop line tool in fence mode you could place it as a fence. prop fences are arguably a lot easier to use compared to networks as you can get prop fences the exact length you need and where you need it as there is no snapping, whereas with a network you'll have to use Move It to adjust the length and the position for more precision. Just something to bare in mind, have a prop and network version would be cool though, just depends how much time you have. Have a fun weekend, haven't been since 2008 but planning my big return next year...

Great looking collection!

The LSM in the Asset report is reporting that the FestBin1, FestBin2 and FestBin3 used by the Festival Path is missing since they are private assets.

The spider would be a challenging build. Also not Glasto specific as it tours quite a lot.

I'm working on a network version of the superfence, much easier to have it draggable across the different gradients of the land instead of placing individual props.

I'll check out the mural in a couple of weeks time, I'm going to be getting a lot of images to use as textures while I'm there.
tramter 9 Jun, 2022 @ 7:52am
pangea no longer exists (sad), but the Spider is set to make a return this year, could be something for you to make? another cool glastonbury related thing you could make is the park stage with the mural wall thing around it (see 2019 pictures) and maybe a prop version of the huge unique fence that surrounds glasto.

Great ideas Tramter, I know who Serious Stages are, you definitely know your business when it comes to Glastonbury. The trackway is a great idea, essential when the weather gets a little damp.

A surge barrier section will be pretty easy to create as a standalone prop. I will still base the original asset type on a parklife asset, this way they will all appear in the same toolbar section but you won't need to place them next to a path if it's a prop.

I was considering recreating Pangea, sadly no longer part of Glastonbury though.
tramter 8 Jun, 2022 @ 12:53pm
apologies for the separate parts, theres a 1000 character limit and i clearly had a lot of ideas...
tramter 8 Jun, 2022 @ 12:52pm
or for added realism, you could make trackway decal/prop that most festivals use to cover the grass backstage and in high density areas (https://all-weatheraccess.co.uk/festival-flooring/ . just googling festival trackway will give you loads of pictures). Most festivals including glastonbury cover pathways and their backstage areas in this trackway stuff to avoid things sinking and to decrease the damage of the ground, so would be really cool to have this for added realism.

That's all i can think of right now, im sure all that will keep you busy for a couple of years hehe.

PS: It would be great if most of these things could be released as stand alone props without the need for parklife. the stages and front of houses would be good as simple tourist attraction buildings, but the integration with parklife limits the capabilities in my opinion to have freedom of placement without painting an entire park area.
tramter 8 Jun, 2022 @ 12:51pm
Some more generic props would include accurate crowd barriers (easy to find accurate pictures of them on google, they have the step on one side for security to stand on to lift people out of the crowd) , some marquees with walls, just any generic festival props.
tramter 8 Jun, 2022 @ 12:51pm
Another good building will be some Front of House towers. You can find some common designs on the Serious Stages website, as well as just looking through festival pictures. To go with the serious stages theme, having a Serious Stages trailer prop (google that) will be good for realism backstage.
tramter 8 Jun, 2022 @ 12:51pm
p1) i have a couple of suggestions for different stages you could make that are common at UK festivals and international festivals too.

A generic grey stratosphere model: https://www.google.com/search?q=stratosphere+stage&rlz=1C1VDKB_en-GBGB1001GB1001&sxsrf=ALiCzsYya_wEYiHzRJVZ_3Hkk-lNkqumlw:1654717036297&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi_yZupzZ74AhXbMMAKHR0_BTwQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1536&bih=714&dpr=1.25

a generic version of this TZ Stage (if you need more references, look at the 2019 Other Stage at Glastonbury, 2019 Download Festival Main Stage, Liam Gallagher Knebworth 2022 Stage, Reading and Leeds main Stage 2013-present): https://www.stages.co.uk/festival-and-concert-stages/tower-roof/tz
CyberVibes 5 Jun, 2022 @ 2:45pm
Here's some suggestions for you :) Some stalls: food and drink, world foods like Jamaican, Thai etc, first aid, shower blocks, t-shirts, posters and gifts. Maybe some more stages as most festivals nowadays have more than just the main stage. Some Marquee's would be good too as there's none on the workshop .
squirrelarmyuk  [author] 5 Jun, 2022 @ 9:53am
I will be able to. They are designed as Parklife assets so they will snap to a path within a park area so roads aren't needed within the actual park.

They also have an entertainment value so they attract visitors to "use" them.

I'll make the tents as a prop, I'm working on a second pack of assets so will release that with them. I'm open to more suggestions for other festival related assets.
tramter 5 Jun, 2022 @ 5:42am
would you be able to make the toilets props? maybe release them as a stand alone prop as that would be much more convinient in my opinion s you wouldnt need a road to put them on. also the enterance tent would be a good standalone prop, without the fences and turnstiles.
tramter 4 Jun, 2022 @ 6:06am
release that pyramid stage building!!
