For anyone who is still having the issue of not being able to place and lock the Table Saw down, I found a temporary solution! If you briefly install the "Build Anywhere" mod by Gamerkuipers, it allows you place the Table Saw down and lock it with a construction hammer. You can then uninstall Build Anywhere if you want, and now you don't have to deal with picking up the Table Saw by accident when using it! This can serve as a temporary solution until ItchyBeard is able to fix the placement issue. (May also work with vanilla Creative Mode, have not tested yet.)

To lock- place, exit to menu with save, back to the game and it is lockable

Is there a way to lock the saw without it being placed? It seems like the build hammer only works when items have been placed vs dropped.

Hey there Itchy, this and storage crates are two of my top 5 favorite mods, so thank you so much for making these. I have a question though, are they available in Volcalidus yet? We can't take anything on the boat with us, and I haven't loaded up my modded save yet to see, as I'm still waiting for other mods to be updated. (Looking at you RFCmodshop devs right now....)

Unfortunately the placement issue isn't something I'll be able to fix without a complete rebuild of the mod from the ground up. (I lost the source code a while back). You can still use the table without placing it, just drop it on the floor and it'll work like normal. Thanks everyone!

could you make a "dirt bomb", basically a bomb that fills the entire dig site site. up to the sites borders with dirt ?. Also there're a few items i miss from the old game, the yellow dig truck, the old lamp post and the paint tools. you you readd them please ?

can you add a decimal point space to the counter? A lot of quests require a .5 so being able to do it directly rather than have to make a 1 cut it in half then merge. being able to split coins would also be nice as the saw rounds down.

I found a small bug. If I try to press the buttons when nothing is on it or it doesn't see the item it breaks. It will not let me push any of the buttons even if I have something on it.

I love that this works with the vegetables. Plus, if you use the Storage Crate from the other mod to stack them into a single veg of the type, you can then split off the exact amount you need for soup!

the saw keeps on despawning i would buy it then log off then get back on later and the saw is gone

Thanks so much for making this beautiful mod. It pleases my OCD so well to be able to make precision measurements for crafting or to stockpile bars at a size of my choosing.

this needs a logic version.

I found a bug where if you hit the button to cut the items when nothing is there to be cut you cant use any other buttons until you reload the game

I'm having the same issue I see in the comments(New to game) Accidentally cheesed probably 1k cloutium before I realized I was duplicating.

Same issue here as well, 1 cut of a shard bar at a specific size, the amount is removed, every cut after does not remove the weight from the main bar,

I noticed that the modification works, if after the first split of the bar we take the initial one and put it back, it will still work. After each button press, we have to pick up our initial bar.

Once after a game reset, I was able to generate an infinite number of bars of a given size. It did not reduce the weight of the initial bar.

the first time press works, but the second time not. I must reload the game to get it working again

I am cutting my shard bar into 500 units but after the first cut I have an infinite shard bar. Removal of the bar and replacing it fixes it for one cut and I have an infinite bar again. My platform is PC Windows 11.

Any possibility of tweaking this to 'cut' coin stacks as well? It would be nice not having to carry around millions of coins when you need to buy something, just cut off a couple thousand and go, lol.

Does not work. i put a bar of Iron/gold etc on the right side. Weight appears but if i press a button, nothing happens. :(

update on my bug: have been putting bar on wrong side
