theres a simple fix @drakeslayer, you could just add a pressure relief valve at the part where the pipe connects to the cab, that way it'll be waterproof, airtight, supply you oxygen (if you have the tank full.), and not kill you from pressure. i tested it and It works great

I absolutely love this!

Max depth with the crushing pressure V.2?
Drakeslayer 9 Aug, 2024 @ 7:25am
Note that the prior testings regarding pressure did NOT account for oxygen; I did not give the generator much time to automatically pump air, and with the dive suit equipped it is in fact consuming oxygen. Maybe if you run out of diver suit oxygen / suit durability you can use the oxygen mask equippable in the mech for even further duration of piloting
Drakeslayer 9 Aug, 2024 @ 7:21am
If you turn off the generator and do not activate the mech while underwater itll flood the cab faster, as while the mech is activated and/or the generator is on, the pump will be pumping out water automatically.
Also, if you do the pressurization process (let the cab flood, enter, seal the cab, and let the water pump out) and dont go on land, you still get approximately the same time until you die from pressure as you would if you walked on land. You essentially have a timer for pressure; the dive suit when equipped helps prolong this timer, and the pressurization process helps prolong it much longer.
Drakeslayer 9 Aug, 2024 @ 7:16am
So I have been doing some testing in regards to the whole "dying to pressure", heres what Ive learned; When you enter the suit on land normally, no dive suit, start it up like normal, you will die to pressure very quickly. When you open the cab, you no longer die to pressure; but again, once its sealed on land, you begin to die. However, when you submerge the mech in water, open cab, allowing for the cab to fill up with water FULLY, put on the dive suit on the bottom left side of the cab interior, seal yourself in the cab while it is flooded, and THEN walk onto land, you can withstand the land pressure for a far longer time. I presume the dive suit assists with the pressure as you will not die nearly as quickly as normally at all, but its not forever. If you open the cab while on land, it resets this pressure thing, and if you seal yourself without having flooded the cab, youll begin to die from pressure quickly again, dive suit or not.

dragon 16 Aug, 2023 @ 9:21am
idea, i had this with like a couple seconds of thought so this is probably something you would likely never do, but maybe if you can get permission you can make an adapter module for Argo to dock this to the sub, if you cant, maybe make your own sub or aerial vehicle.
Jim the Pilot 10 Aug, 2023 @ 6:19am
ii hope theres a bigger version of this

CINATITSMR 29 Dec, 2022 @ 9:48am
Yeah well I don't feel like I'm reponsible enough to pilot a big sub. Also it's fun to grapple reapers and beat the s**t out of them.

Prawn Suit is overrated
CINATITSMR 27 Dec, 2022 @ 9:28am
The Pressure Re-Active Waterproof Nano Suit is a range of mechs designed to protect the pilot from extreme environments. The Mk.III is the latest iteration, and has so far only been rolled out by Alterra for their own high-value, phasegate-related operations.

- The suit is fully insulated from the outside environment
- Powerful hydraulic limbs allow for manipulation of objects and powered traversal of the environment
- Rear-mounted thrusters provide maneuverability in low-gravity environments
- A range of modifications are available to facilitate resource extraction and enhanced exploration

you should make the Prawn Suit from Subnautica

NoNameIdk1 7 Oct, 2022 @ 3:18am
coolest mech i ever found in a game (not if you include games about mechs)
Mattæus 20 Sep, 2022 @ 11:00pm
I did not notice the GIANT hole in the wall, as far as I thought it was a custom window, thank you. I did not know those things could exist in stormworks, but very cool

How might one get the strider out of the cargo bay (forgive me if I'm being dense)?
CTH2004 25 Aug, 2022 @ 3:43pm
great!

Thanks!
WH1T3_No1SE  [author] 24 Aug, 2022 @ 12:50pm
There is an air hose for the mech in the underwater base for this mech.
CTH2004 24 Aug, 2022 @ 12:49pm
shame... shame.
So, does it also have an air-hose (If not, I feel it should), because that underwater base is, well, deep. You aint easily accessing anything down there! So, it sure would be nice (can understand if you can't though), to be able to fill it with air down there! C4RBON could then put air-hoses in, or others who are compatible with this at least!

Just a suggestion though!
Awesome either way!
