Has anyone else experienced concluding a war you were being a mercenary in, and it gives the notice that you weren't paid because your contribution was under 3k+, even though you met the 100 contribution requirement?

This is cool. I have a mod idea that I wanted to use this mechanic but couldn't figure out how to make it work so I shelved it. Guess I will dive deep into the code of this one and explore the new DLC more.

Hey mate I'm just looking at your modded "fp2_contract_assistance_war_pay_effect" in \common\scripted_effects\03_ms_scripted_effects.txt, and it's kept the vanilla gold payment scripted value key of "offer_assistance_interaction_gold_value" and hasn't changed to your new scripted value key of "ms_offer_assistance_interaction_gold_value" that you use in the character interaction.

@thunderhood actually it is not your fault, it is just pdx didn't think it clearly. You had just incorporated it outside struggle region, the fact a king with 6000 troops cost only 100 gold compared to an actual mercenary company which at highest cost of 600 gold only provides 2000 troops is a game breaking thing and pdx is only to blame.

@Riaman @Nial I think that I can insert the price depending on the rank. As far as I understood the mechanics, you only have to contribute a small amount (just 100 points) for the future I can imagine that a percentage above the points should be added as an additional cost. The latter is just an idea.

@Nial i agree, payment should be dynamic, a count 100, a duke 200, a king 300 and an emperor 400

I love that it's tied to "Swords for Hire" tradition - something that should've been in vanilla imo, but as I understand the contract payment is a fixed 100 gold value? This isn't good, if possible it'd be much better if it scaled with the size and quality of the hired army. Otherwise you pay/get paid 100 for as little as 400 levies or a doomstack of 5000 elephants.

This mod should not have any problems activating and deactivating, which means you can add this mod later in the game as long as no other mods override the tradition " Swords For Hire".

After deactivation, the wars created by the actions "contract assistance interaction" and the request remain and must be ended at will.

I made the interaction dependent on the tradition " Hire for Swords" for balance reasons and the flavor that the contracting to join the war fits well with this tradition. Something like a small mercenary contract.
