For anyone having the same problem where you can not activate the mod. you can NOT have this and the original sub they did not change the workshop ID and hash for this one so the game things you are trying to activate the same two subs .

Gotcha, I did try fixing things myself way back in 2022 with the original.
but it looks like something changed with the hull so all the pods and the main sub just flood in the editor it's funny but not really optimal.

@Operator We are aware of some issues and are trying to fix it when able.
Blaze is kinda the one that is able to do this.

I responded to a DM he posted to me. I said I didn't care personally but its Vive la Raclette's technically so I don't wanna be "giving permissions" for anything. Honestly if its a EK overhaul it is its own thing and doesn't overlap with the project here of keeping this vanilla friendly ship alive.

I'd say you should mark it as a EK ship in the title similar to others.

@Freaky I think it is best if you keep it to yourself and not prepost it. It is flattering that you've made a version of it for yourself however.

Blaze and Tommy may also have their own thoughts about it; might want to wait if they respond too.

I've made my own remastered version of this sub designed for a balanced campaign use and with EK's Dockyard and Gunnery components. Is it ok if i repost my version when I am finished, or would you prefer I didn't?

If I may ask, is it okay if I publish my own version of this mod, please? I did some things to it in the Submarine Editor. One of my great friends and I managed to fix the A.I. waypoint nodes, as well as changed up part of the interior. In addition, I did some personal touches on how the submarine works.

Any word on fixing the AI pathing? I managed to fix ONE on my own by jamming two of the doors permanently open. But the bottom front gunner will always try to go through the ballast tank, to get to the gun down there. No idea how to fix that.

@Turtl3H3rm1t It's possible that this is happening because there are two of them. So the game see's that there's still one in the sub and doesn't provide the option to buy a new one. Unfortunately the solution is to make a 1 and 2 Nautilus that's considered two separate subs. This wouldn't update for ongoing campaigns though.

I made a few messy adjustments and have been doing some playtesting, there seems to be no way to recover a lost nautilus if it has run out of power. If you try to buy it at an outpost it says you already have a shuttle docked. Any ideas on how to get it back outside of editing the save?

@Kaptain Kronic, Sorry was on hiatus due to work and burnout. I should have a 1.0 patch by the end of this weekend but it'll be patchwork mainly.

While it's mainly just to get the sub in a usable state for campaign there will be a few new features that I was working on before my hiatus.

@Tennantz, I'm fairly sure you would've found out how to start the reactor by now but do you still need assistance?

i know its been a little bit but i just wanna say i love the work done with this sub. just watched Atlantis again and was filled with nostalgia and had troubles with the previous releases of the Ulysses sub. thanks for bringing childhood dreams alive!

Hi, I cant seem to get the ships reactor to start, any fix? Im new to starting up subs, i cant get the fission to go higher to increase heat

@Zeruel, I am aware of the issue and the issue should be fixed with the next update. I'm aiming to get most of the remaining work done over the weekend but this sub keeps throwing curve balls to throw me off.

hello, I have a problem with the mini submarines included.
When I buy and start the trip, I get a message saying "Something went wrong when loading a linked submarine-the save didn't include a world position, a linked port, or position relative to the main submarine". please help:steamsad:

Think I've found a few bugs with some testing Part 2:

- Scram lever in the bridge is buggy and would be better as a button. (very minor issue)
- I think there is a button on the second door to the bridge that is hidden or placed behind the wall layer.
- Top right glass of the bridge is bugged with no collision Copying one of the others and replacing it fixes the issue.

Think I've found a few bugs with some testing Part 1:

- Rear turret is rather annoying to access and AI would likely get stuck. You have to crouch to get out. Would it be possible to slightly enlarge the door?
- Super capacitor above the large drone/shuttle is constantly losing power and I'm not sure what's causing this.
- Battery power appears to be unable to keep the ship running. Not sure if this intentional or not? It is atmospheric with the lights flickering but not very useful.
- AI pathing to the top deck of the bridge needs adjusting as it couldn't access the ladder. Also to the shuttles as well to repair internals.
- Turret angles needs adjusting to prevent firing on itself.
- Batteries are currently set not to recharge and have to be manually set to recharge.
- Same deal with super capacitors guns are set not to recharge.

I agree it is a beautiful sub that unfortunately didn't survive the game updates it seems. I pushed the update, hopefully that fixes everything, if there is still broken stuff lmk and I will fix them. Taking a bit of a break from baro, so didn't really test everything.

Ah yeah the sub ships with custom assets that I didn't include, and because I had the original version loaded, I didn't have issues. This will be fixed shortly, thanks for letting me know.

ok soo nice you fixt the problem but ther are walls missing like at the tob of the ship on the top and botem the balasttanks are open and other placees.
