Hi, I'm trying to mod a reverse effect for a civilization, how would I mod a passive conversion of food to production as a civ ability? Could I get some help here?

I was curious and tested if this mod works with Vanilla and G&K and it does not. Works with BNW without a problem though. I find it's a nice option to have, for building tall.

Strangely... i created different Icons for these and used the big (10+) default Green-Apple-Bucket for Yields. If anyone wants them i'll upload a Zip on CivFanatics in the author's thread.

or do as the Civ iv mod did, in it certain technology gave 20% production -> XYZ. later on in the tech tree, one would get a sligthly powerfull version of this. why not do something like that. like say at fertalizers you get an upgrade on hammer soup, ect.

This should work with Gods & Kings, since converting production into another statistic has been around since the base game. I will throw together a couple versions for faith and culture when I find the time (It only takes about 20 minutes) but lately I haven't had even 20 minutes to spare.

This does not edit the DLL. it is about 10 lines of XML and some art. As far as the AI is concerned, there is no flavor code for Processes (That is what production conversion is called in the XML) so I simply assumed they do not use them. Have you ever looked in espionage and seen the AI using Process: Wealth?

Now one question, will the AI prioritise this over more units? if so I can use the prehistoric mod with this to make it work properly.

Thank you. I was running culture victory games and often found myself with a building that finished in 5 turns and a research that finished in 7. This seemed like a good way to spend 2 turns of production while I waited for my opportunity to start my next world wonder.
