In the presentation tab a different symbol appears that represents an increase in Kuuga's base stats. (trying to adapt their transformations without wanting to complicate my life with my first character)
with the kuuga symbol you keep it standard,
With the boot you increase his speed (and slightly his jump) but lower the power of most of his movements,
With the sword it increases the strength of the attacks but is susceptible to knockback,
With the shield he increases his defenses, he loses speed but becomes heavier.
The Kuuga symbol with an arrow raises or lowers all the previous statistics as the case may be (up or down)
Each skin has its own brand by default, but there is a button below that allows you to change it as you like.
but thanks for showing interest ; -)
when i was trying to skin ichigo i realized that one of my attempts looked a lot like gills. I retouched it and put it in.
if i had to critque something i think the dair is a bit too powerful and i think the tilts/jab could use a bit more range or maybe they boost him forwards a small amount
I'll try to do my best in terms of gameplay, but I probably won't change the animations until I have the new sprites complete.
I recently got into Kamen Rider as a long time Power Rangers/Super Sentai and I absolutely love the series, and seeing a workshop character for Kuuga got me excited. I know you're obligated to work any further on this character but I appreciate any tuning done to make them cooler and more playable. Good work so far.
I really want to keep doing these things. But right now I couldn't promise anything. Yes, I will, but first it's time to survive.
I will see how to scratch the time to correct those faults in the next updates
Overall I appreciate adding a Kamen Rider to Workshop and love all the references in the alt costumes but I feel this character needs a spritework overhaul and I'm speaking as someone who fell into that trapping making their own first character. But if this was your first character then the mistake is understandable.
Rivals of Aether scales a 40x40 canvas to double size, meaning the pixels are technically 2x2 rather than 1x1. I realise that these aren't your sprites but it would go a long way for this character to have custom sprites made for Rivals.
As for the moveset itself, the Rider Kick looks weird being able to be done along the ground, I feel like this should be an aerial only movement. Its also immensely spammable and could do with a cooldown to prevent being abused. I mean, the Rider Kick is usually the finisher right? Also the Dash Attack being the bike looks a bit weird and makes the bike feel like it lacks impact. Maybe instead FSpecial on the Ground can be a Wario bike like move and in the air it can be a Rider Kick.
