Tainted Treasure rooms devs if you see this PLEASE fix the Dryad lagging the heck out of you everytime it procs and the Dead Sea Scrolls Tainted beggar + Item Spark getting deactivated everytime u rejoin the game.

It appears that the mod has some sort of conflict with Heaven's Call? If a HC room spawns alongside a Tainted Treasure room on a floor, the Tainted Treasure room will be a regular red room, the Heaven's Call room works as intended.

I don't know if it's a bug, but it's happened to me twice now that instead of the tainted treasure room, only a normal red room appears.

hi!!! evangelism's static doesnt do damage for me for some reason? i figured it out when playing as the Evangelist (another mod that needs this one). I then tried to get godhead and give myself evangelism and the static still didnt do anything. it just takes the homing from godhead away. i dont have any other mods installed, what should i do?

Don't really get why these are locked behind doors that cost 2 keys. Even with the fun ones like No options and eternal candle, they're just not worth giving up a good item + 2 keys.
A lot of runs I simply can't enter the rooms they're in at all and the mod as a result has absolutely no impact on the game unless a beggar spawns (which are turned off by default so I didn't even notice them for ages)

I'm interested about the Zodiacs and Planetariums symbols in tainted form.

Will the other Zodiacs get a tainted version too?

hey, just to warn that i think there is a bug, i got one of the tainted treasure rooms while playing as tainted cain, when i tried taking the item, the game crashed (idk if this will matter, but the item was the steam deck one)

I dont suppose theres a list somewhere of what mods add more to this. I know Elitium does but i dunno if thats the only one.

I noticed a strange bug. I've had about five runs - three just with Capricorn and two with Capricorn and a Purple Star, and Leviathan has never appeared to me. I did not take other items with tainted counterparts. I even donated to the tainted beggars with Capricorn a few times, and even then it didn't appear

Wish that more bad/risky items had their better conterparts, like Cursed Eye, Wiz, Bob's Brain, Missing No, etc. It would add a bit of the "risk=reward" playstyle

Repentogon throws errors from this mod occasionally, nothing game-breaking from what i can tell since i've never been unable to complete a run when an error was thrown, but it does seem to sometimes spawn mobs in a boss room after the boss dies. I see the author is still responding in comments and thus probably still active, so thank you for all your work!

Forget what I said about the Taited Beggar being bugged. It was a trinket by the mod retribution which animates beggars faster, but causes them to no longer pay out with anything due to a bug.

Is the Tainted Beggar bugged? I encountered him in a super secret room, Litterally gave him like 35 or so coins and he didn't give me anything. He played the pay out animation 3 times, but other than that nothing, not even a pickup drop. I then used debug to give myself a dollar, to test. I gave him 50 coins and the same pay out animation like 6 to 8 times but I got nothing again. That can't be right? Dude litterally scammed me.

I wonder, what could be happened if they had make a Tarnished Items?

Is it just me or does Taited Libra aka. The Ravenous, lag the game once you pick it up? For some reason when I pick it up and as long as I have it, my Fps drop from like 50-60 to 10-20. When I remove it via Debug or items like blighted dice from Epihany, the frames go normal again. I don't know why? This is the only tainted item that I avoid picking up because it just causes Lag.

the sheer amount of lag this mod produces prevents me from even using it

Tainted Room cause an error log to shows up everytime a tainted room tries to spawn in and a red room replaces it.
