I like how it's modular, and there's no fiddly gravitational fields to get disrupted. Just plop it onto a ship and you're good to go. Simple mechanism but i like it.

Interesting. I've got an idea. Put a ship grinder at the end of it, they are practically indestructable, and use it as a ship puncher. Great work.

Thanks Pep. I was less concerned about the actual mechanism than the effects of the launched item. I will have to stress test it as I was thinking of using it as internal catapult to launch broadside torps and fighters. Either way, excellent.

Great implementation. On the Torp idea Kanasterstuhl mentioned, definately. Though me thinks you would need to dedicate a massive amoutn of internal space to allow for guide arms so maneuver would still be possible while firing....nothing worse than blowing YOURSELF up.
