Sawyered101 8 May, 2024 @ 2:23pm
is this compatible with real sonar and other mods
Estus 6 May, 2024 @ 5:59pm
Is it working?
skippywhippy 7 Jan, 2024 @ 6:52pm
Thanks, makes more sense now since I was regularly taking damage a few times.
JaxMesa  [author] 7 Jan, 2024 @ 4:15am
Must come from regular receiving of damage. But shouldn't be often. If it is, tell me more about it.
skippywhippy 6 Jan, 2024 @ 10:13pm
What is the cause of the Flu? I've got rid of it multiple times but it keeps coming back.
JaxMesa  [author] 21 Dec, 2023 @ 12:30pm
Will take a look

doesn't work in the new version, makes me drop to 5 frames when in radiation areas.
BigEvilGreenBean 16 Nov, 2023 @ 2:23pm
It was a diffrent mod
BigEvilGreenBean 16 Nov, 2023 @ 2:23pm
I figured it out
JaxMesa  [author] 16 Nov, 2023 @ 5:26am
Depends.
BigEvilGreenBean 15 Nov, 2023 @ 3:56pm
Have you added any new afflictions recently? Im noticing some afflictions I haven't before.
legser4 1 Nov, 2023 @ 7:36am
There is no message showing the required skill so I assumed there is no skill requirement for those items
JaxMesa  [author] 1 Nov, 2023 @ 2:41am
"Also it appears several vanilla items and a some (maybe all, didn't check) mod items don't require any medical skill to use. is this intentional?"
You mean the message of required skill level is not popping up? Or in general you see no difference in use between low and high skill levels?
legser4 1 Nov, 2023 @ 1:59am

Some items such as Plastiseal still don't stack properly
JaxMesa  [author] 29 Oct, 2023 @ 2:43pm
Wow, that would be great. :captainsinful:
Agitatio 29 Oct, 2023 @ 2:28pm
I'll ask my friend to make new affliction icons for you.
JaxMesa  [author] 29 Oct, 2023 @ 12:44pm
"Or not fever, but something like cold water shock." Good idea, will take a look. But I surely need then either MOD suits with heat mechanics or medicine to cure cold which is... strange? Will remember it, thanks.
JaxMesa  [author] 29 Oct, 2023 @ 12:43pm
"Question. Have you considered cold water (which is all of it in Baro pretty much) exposure potentially causing fever. Or is there no easy way of doing that without overriding a lot of stuff or using Lua?"
I was thinking about it, but couldn't find the best way to realize it. So, technically, it would be easier to do it with Lua, which as computer language I don't know. I just know that Lua allows you make bigger logic patterns for your mods with less RAM and CPU power.

The main difference is in color for now.
JaxMesa  [author] 29 Oct, 2023 @ 11:13am
If I only had someone to draw it for me. I really would like to resprite a half of my items and make new, but I just can't. Items that currenty are in use were taken from other mods like Affliction+(original autor stopped supporting that mod which is sad).
Agitatio 29 Oct, 2023 @ 9:56am
Either Blunt Force Trauma or Serious Injury could really use a new icon so that they don't look identical.
JaxMesa  [author] 28 Oct, 2023 @ 8:22am
legser4 28 Oct, 2023 @ 8:01am
Please fix items not stacking to 32 in lockers and other containers
JaxMesa  [author] 22 Oct, 2023 @ 9:47pm
It would be nice. :captainsinful:

I actually have a mod that also overrides human.xml and I was asked to make some kind of compatibility for this mod. I'm curious as to why/how your human.xml is used, if I understand that I could probably make a compatibility patch pretty easily.
JaxMesa  [author] 20 Oct, 2023 @ 6:09am
It does, to make it possible to get my afflictions undependent to other mods. If you use other mods, that are overriding human.xml - try to set my mod uppon that one.
Onyx 19 Oct, 2023 @ 9:46pm
Does this mod override the human xml files?
BigEvilGreenBean 7 Oct, 2023 @ 1:52pm
Just saying, it would be pretty cool if you added a disease that's contracted from ballast flora. (it would be called like flora sickness or something.) It would slowly remove your ability to walk, eventually paralyzing you. Maybe nausea too. The cure could be like antibiotics.
BigEvilGreenBean 1 Oct, 2023 @ 7:41pm
ok
JaxMesa  [author] 1 Oct, 2023 @ 2:27am
Most by using donor blood without medical skills. There is some chance to get it. Not that big so you get it on regular.
BigEvilGreenBean 30 Sep, 2023 @ 3:44pm
How do you get blood poisoning?
JaxMesa  [author] 25 Sep, 2023 @ 7:41am
Yep
BigEvilGreenBean 24 Sep, 2023 @ 8:28pm
So does extracting blood work now?
JaxMesa  [author] 24 Sep, 2023 @ 6:08am
Must be already fixed :captainsinful:
BigEvilGreenBean 23 Sep, 2023 @ 2:41pm
nevermind, its just really slow
BigEvilGreenBean 23 Sep, 2023 @ 2:40pm
also, is their anyway to remove chemical withdrawal? Its not going away for me
BigEvilGreenBean 22 Sep, 2023 @ 10:32pm
I cant extract blood for some reason. With the empty sryinge.
BigEvilGreenBean 22 Sep, 2023 @ 4:56pm

It is. Severe damage types like severe bleeding and injury causes slow income of concussion. Yesterday I updated mod cauze of your comment. While looking through noticed some issues. I found out it worked quiet not correct so I had to rework it. Please, give any feedback so I know where do I have to take a look.
BigEvilGreenBean 21 Sep, 2023 @ 6:44pm
I believe it was from a serious injury.
BigEvilGreenBean 21 Sep, 2023 @ 6:44pm
huh, for me I got it and it wouldn't go away.
JaxMesa  [author] 21 Sep, 2023 @ 6:27am
Main idea behind this is short-term stun which you gain in battles after receiving too much damage that causes concussion. That can be organdamage, blunttrauma, explosion damage and especially gunshot wound. Mostly, you will receive concussion by getting damaged in torso and HEAD.
BigEvilGreenBean 20 Sep, 2023 @ 7:46pm
how does severe disorientation work?
BigEvilGreenBean 3 Aug, 2023 @ 9:16am
Ah ok, Thanks for replying.
JaxMesa  [author] 3 Aug, 2023 @ 9:10am
@BigEvilGreenBean, well. I made some tests to be sure about that medics can't heal severe bleeding and serious injuries and they actually can. Maybe you didn't give an order to medical to heal other crew members. Everything works.
