Hi. It is a bit complicated, since there is a dynamic detection of the WS axis sensitivity, and both throttle and brake axis are bound to that sensitivity for simplicity. The processed throttle and brake axis values are in lines 137 and 138, you can edit them and split the variable wsSens into two separate variables, and define them as constants ranging from 0.0001 (1%) to 1 (100%).

Hello! I really like this MC, but I have a question. How could I limit the throttle sensitivity, but only the throttle. My truck accelerates too fast for my taste, but if I lower the sensitivity in the seat then the brakes are weird. I have 0 knowledge with LUA so far, but I noticed some values like wsSens, which I´d guess is the sensitivity of the throttle axis, and changing the value after did what I expected it to do, basically the same as if I changed the sensitivity in the seat. I also found a value called thr in the code, I suppose that´s the throttle. Modular engines are pretty much new to me as well.

I already reverted the controller to previous version without the multiplier few days ago.

Was having big issues with it not starting at all thinking im doing something wrong since my other creation with this MC works fine
But i removed that multiplier and it works perfectly fine now

Thanks mate fixed, put down a new one but the multiplier is still there says last updated on 14th

Привет, в той таблице суммарные передаточные числа, полученные комбинацией отношений всех четырех последовательных коробок. Если ты поменял передаточные хотя бы в одной коробке, то всю таблицу нужно полностью пересчитывать.

Уран привет, подскажи пожалуйста, где и как в коде можно отрегулировать момент переключения передачи (относительно оборотов двигателя или скорости). Дело в том что я использую другие передаточные числа в коробке. Нашёл на строке 29 таблицу grs с числами, но не смог понять откуда они взяты, т.к. увидел соответствия ни с коленвалом, ни с вращением колёс.

How does this fair with powerful engines for large trucks? It doesn't seem to want to go higher than 1st gear. When loaded down I'll be going single digit speeds but even manually shifting doesn't change the speed.

The default mode allows you to select the transmission mode when vehicle spawns, so you can spawn it with or without the parking brake turned on.
Release throttle when shifting is an optional feature that automatically releases the throttle right before the automatic gear shifting, to emulate the behavior of a real robotic gearbox.
If the transmission type is Auto, then you can manually select its modes in the sequence: Reverse - Parking brake - Drive - Low gear, as in most real automatic gearboxes. In Drive mode, gears will shift automatically.
Reverse max throttle defines a portion of the full throttle value, because sometimes you need to move slower in reverse than in first gear forward.

Thanks. It is already have my modified ECU inside with the most optimal settings, because in most cases you don't get any benefit from a stoichiometry other than 0.5. The drivetrain works as one piece where engine and transmission operations are coordinated. The number of gears and overall gear ratios are particularly calculated to be as even as possible for 4 gearbox blocks and hardcoded inside the ECU. I have a standalone and less functional transmission controller with manual tuning of rps threshold.

Could you make it so that i could use any gearbox configuration and count? So that i could only add a chunk of logic for every extra gearbox i want and do the same changes for every extra gearbox? Maybe have a property slider for each gearbox where you input the gear ratios?

For some reason the controller won't provide any fuel or air outputs they stay at 0, engine is at 20 RPS using starter and toggle is on, it also doesnt provide a clutch pressure output

I have a problem where the engine cuts out after using the first 2-4L of fuel and I can't figure out whats causing it. Any idea what it might be?

Hey thanks uran i had logic on torque instead of rps oops lol. This transmission is fantastic! better than any other on the workshop. Its pushing a 16 cylinder modular engine cramped inside a ford raptor (3200lbs) this thing PULLS. Great towing capability as well.

Make sure the torque meter is installed after all four gearboxes.

The transmission automatically starts in 8th gear? if i manually shit to first then back up it goes from 1st to 8th...

Updated and fixed, the brakes now have more power at low speed.

thanks, that does seem to be the problem, but i noticed that in the latest version of the controller the brakes dont apply fully when braking, which causes my truck to sort of wobble back and forth a few times when fully stopping, brake sensitivity does affect this issue, but even at 10, it still happens

Also infinite fuel mode forces engines to consume the constant amount of air regardless of its pressure, so it makes all superchargers ineffective.

Make sure the minimum air pressure measured with pressure sensor should exceed 90 units, if it is not, install a larger air pump. Unlike open air intakes, air pumps limit the maximum air flow, so depending on engine configuration the supercharger may supply less air than the engine consumes with normal aspiration.

im having a weird issue, not sure if its even related to the controller but maybe you can help anyways. the problem is that i use this on two different vehicles, on one of them it works fine, but worse when infinite fuel is turned on (i dont normally use infinite fuel so thats fine) but on the other vehicle it makes way less power without infinite fuel. only difference that should matter: the second vehicle has forced induction

Updated the controller, made the RPS less bouncy, and added the throttle release before shifting as an optional feature. The default properties now matches the defaults of the old controller, with no gear shift delay and faster acceleration.
